Of course, whatever brand of printer you buy, they sternly tell you to only buy the manufacturers brand of cartridges. Which means, it gets expensive. My Brother all-in-one accepted this, and works fine. The Dell I used to have, was another story. If I didn't buy Dell cartridges, a yellow caution icon annoyingly flashed, and it constantly asked to print a sample page (to use up ink). It was a relief to me that this Brother didn't do that. I don't print that many pics, but they came out clear. Most of the time, it's just documents or receipts, and I see no difference between the Brother cartridges, and these.

I was wary due to some of the bad reviews this item got. Ordered it anyway. The new cartridges installed easily enough. I followed the instructions on the paper that was included in the package and didn't have any issues. Printed a test page and everything is working fine (for now). If issues come up down the road, I will update the review.

everything that should be red comes out pink.but i can live with it for the price. will see what the next set does.

I have only used the black cartridge so far. No problems with it. I thought it would last longer. I didn't get nearly 300 copies, which is what I thought I would get. To be fair, I was printing alot of pictures/activities (I am a teacher). I have not tried the other cartridges yet you not sure how long they will last. I think I would buy again.
