Epson cartridges are my preference over the cheaper generic cartridges. Since I am partial to Epson Printer, I have owned only Epson, and experimented with generic cartridges which although they perform admirably, the difference is seen in high quality photos. While using the highest print settings generic cartridges produce some hues that strongly effect photos of people, facial tones are uneven. This makes you look like a bad photograher to the unknowledgable. With the Epson cartridges this problem does not exist, so if that happens while using OEM clean you printer nozzles, and make sure you have an ample ink supply by checking your printer properties... you may be low on one or more colors. And yes BLACK is a key component in photo printing.

Works great in Epson 1270 photo, approximately 1 black cartridge to 2 color ones. Photo and print quality is great! Prices are more reasonable than the ones for my HP.

OK, I agree with everyone that Epson makes pretty good ink. Photos come out looking good, and they are archival inks as well. So far so good.

What irks me is that even if I've been overwhelmingly using black ink, when it is used up the printer won't start up until I replace both the black & color cartridges. In fact, Epson settled a class-action suit because the printer would require you to replace both cartridges EVEN WHEN THERE WAS ENOUGH INK LEFT IN THEM. So I ended up having to replace both cartridges when there was no reason to replace either of them, so Epson could sell more high-priced ink. What do I get out of it if I send in my claim? $40 in Epson products, or enough for one set of ink cartridges.

Well, I've bought the last Epson ink I'll ever buy, and the last Epson printer, too. What's the point of having separate cartridges if you have to change them at the same time? Epson has nothing to gain by abusing its customers.

I've since replaced my Epson inkjet with a Brother B&W network laser printer that I'm very happy with, and if I want color photos I upload them to my neighborhood drug store, where my photos are ready in one hour for less cost than printing them on Epson photo paper. If I want a color printer in the future it will be a non-Epson laser printer. Inkjets are a pain in addition to being expensive in the long run anyway.

I purchased 3 Black Epson T007201 Inkjet Printer Cartridges through Amazon.com in January -best price I've seen. The first worked perfectly. The second failed to work at all and my printer kept telling me that my ink cartridge was empty or not an epson ink cartridge. After powering off and on my printer, deleting it, reinstalling it, and restarting my system several times, I finally gave up and opened and installed the 3rd new cartridge. It worked perfectly. Now I'm trying to figure out how to get a replacement for the defective cartridge and I'm not having any success even finding a way to contact amazon about the problem. I'm hoping they respond to this review. If they stand behind the defective cartridge and send me a replacement, they get a 5 star review. Otherwise it goes to zero. Two out three means that my $18.94 cartridge (plus shipping) really cost me almost $30 each. For less than that, I can run down to Office Max and get it instantly and return it instantly if it's defective.

If you have an Epson printer, you pretty much have no choice but to buy their ink. (In fact, this goes any with manufacturer.) I strongly recommend against using any third-party ink cartridges, as I have had nothing but bad experience with them in the past.

This ink cartridge gives you what you expect: never enough pages for what you pay! Fortunately Amazon gives us a very good price, so we can afford to buy just a few more per year.

fast shipping, ordered friday 5pm and arrived monday at 2pm (although i do live 10miles away). the ink was very good, i would have given it a 5star but i needed ink for a photo project that was half done. i spend 60$ on hp ink then half way i ran out so i ordered this package. i made 150 copies of one picture 75 looked great from original hp ink. the other 75 looked good but just couldn't match the original one. its great for regular day to day paper use and ive saved a bunch of money, ive refilled my ink 4times and still have enough to last me along time. i will definitely order more. thanks, 5 stars to the seller.

We could not get the printer to recognize that there is ink in the cartridges, therefore, nothing will print. Waste of money.

originally I was skeptical as the ink drained out of the cartridge I refilled first but I later learned you cant refill cartridges that have been sitting and dried out. Works better refilling cartridges that either still have ink in them or have recently emptied. Two refills work just fine. One attempt produced colors that were not correct still cant figure what cause that.Overall I think its worth the money since ink refills are so expensive.

They are a family business. (Go to EBAY to see pictures of the business). I stopped buying OEM HP ink cartridges. I never use refill cartridges. Ink it up 4 less manufactures just about the best ink cartridges you can buy. You may pay less for refills, but Consumer Reports indicated they do not last long. Ink it up 4 less last just as long or longer than the HP OEM cartridges. I have been using Ink it up 4 less for more than several months already. They really are good, and they work.

The color cartridges are just knock outs. I use HP 02 cartridges. The red, blue, and brown colors are sharp. Green is excellent. Yellow outstanding. Black ink sharp. Photos on photo paper just great.

Empties: Bring your empty ink cartridges to Staples. Get a Staple Rewards card online from Staples.

Highly recommended. Give them a try. You will not be disappointed.

The cartridges I received were all remanufactured inks. The first black cartridge leaked and had to be thrown away. The ad does not say these are remanufactured, if it did, I would not have purchased them.

I bought 3 of these and the first one worked fine for about 6 months. I really only use my printer during tax season, and so 1 year later I had to replace the ink. I tried both of the other 2 cartridges and both were bad and streaky. I used the OEM 1/2 full cartridge that came with the printer for almost 3 years. I am very hesitant about buying remanufactured again.

I ended up throwing it away because the printing was not crisp. I ended up buying a Lexmark cartridge at the higher price because we had a report that had to have good print quality and this cartridge did not deliver it.

Ordered two cartridges. Installed the first one and it hardly made it thru the alignment phase before skipping. Tried to use the printer several times over three or four days, totally unsatisfactory. Replaced the cartridge with the second one ordered and the results were not much better. I recommend buying a new printer that uses cheaper cartridges available from new stock. That's what HP,Etal want us to do anyway right?

This was such a great price that I couldn't pass it up. However, the print quality of my printer has gone down since using this recycled cartridge and this never happened before. I used to get crystal clear print copies and now they look "smudged". For my purposes, it's fine but I would not recommend if you want to make a good impression. I'm not sure that I would buy these again.

This cartridge works fine in my Primera DVD printer, but is is fairly expensive. There does not seem to be a generic cartridge on the market.

I have avoided doing full coverage lables, so these tend to last me 300 or so discs.

Aside from being a bit expensive when compared to many other ink cartridges, these Bravo ink refills work perfectly. You're pretty much stuck ordering them name brand as there are no good OEMs available, and I hate trying to mess around with manual ink refills as they usually are only moderately successful (except at getting ink on your hands!). Amazon has a pretty good price on these, and free shipping, so they're worth getting here.

The ones provided by the maker of the printer are just too expensive. So I tried LD and they are very good. I also tried one cheaper brand and had lots of problems. So I came back to LD brand. I rarely have any issues with theses, and the issues are my fault for having them in my travel computer bag and banging it around. I use both the black & white and the color type and both are very good. I go through lots of them. I have been using the LD for about 2 years now and will continue.

I bought this system for my HP Officejet Pro 8500A. It seemed to work great for the first 20 pages of printing or so but quickly "dried up". Further the cartridges provided with the kit kept the machine saying "Empty cartridges" which essentially stopped any printing at all. I have tried to contact the seller regarding this issue but have yet to receive an answer. At the time of this review it has been almost 5 days without a response. I'll have to simply go back to purchasing separate cartridges for now. If anyone find a reliable continuous ink system, let me know.

This is probably the best value you can currently get for the HP OfficeJet Pro 8500 printers if you decide to stay with the officially approved cartridge. Its 2200-page rating is more than double that of the HP 940 Officejet Black Ink Cartridge (C4902AN) but it costs only 1/3 more. Definitely preferred even for a casual user because, unless you use your printer as a fashion statement or status symbol in the office, you ARE going to have to replace a 1000-page cartridge, sooner or later.

The 2,200 page rating is based on HP's testing methodology meaning that it's highly unlikely that you will get 2,200 pages out of your cartridge. If you make copies, if you print photos, if you use the high quality settings you are going to run out of ink much sooner but the fact remains that you do get a lot more ink in this cartridge than in the 'regular' one.

HP claims (couldn't verify) that using Officejet inks on papers with the ColorLok logo the output will retain color quality 'for decades'. Such an ink/paper combination, according to HP, will produce documents that resist water and fading.

The HP 940XL Ink Cartridge provides a lot of pages for the money in my HP Officejet Pro 8500 Wireless All-In-One Printer. We use our printer every day, having two teens in school and both my wife and I doing work from home, so we can use up a standard size cartridge fairly quickly. Since we don't like to use 3rd party inks, these high volume cartridges are the best value for us.

I purchased the HP OfficeJet 8500 because of the volume yields for printing (especially the black). I am running a tax and accounting business and I obviously blow through black ink on a regular basis. This helps me keep costs down and the ability to print with an inkjet allows me to provide colorful financial statements, reports, etc for my clients. If you need a little more than laser black and white printing, but cannot afford a color laser, I would recommend this product along with purchasing the HP 8500. Love this printer because of the XL cartridges and the ability scan my workpapers easily. This printer also allows you to define the buttons on the front of the unit to perform specific tasks... scan to client files directory, scan to email, etc. Very handy and I have been advising my monthly customers to get one of these for their small business needs.

This is not a comment on this seller but on HP's racket of selling their printers below cost, then robbing us blind with their ink cartridges. They claim their 940 XL, which sells for about $40, prints 2,200 pages. Yeah right.

I'm a playwright and play pages have very little print on them, since most of the lines are short and they're double and triple spaced. My newish HP Officejet Pro demands a fresh cartridge after printing 600 play pages, the equivalent of about 200 regular double-spaced pages of text. So I'm getting less than ten percent of what they promise.

I never print in color, not ever, yet yesterday the printer wouldn't operate until I replaced the yellow cartridge. Today it wouldn't work until I replaced the blue cart. I ONLY PRINT IN BLACK.

They put chips in the carts so you can't use third party ones. This racket -and HP is not the only offender among printer manufacturers -is one of the most flagrant rip-offs in America today. It's outrageous and sleazy, a disgraceful way to treat your loyal customers.

I tried a couple of times for after-market ink cartridges... and come to the conclusion that it is just not worth it. Running out of ink and then having to scramble because the budget cartridge has issues when your kid's term paper is due that morning... just not worth it.

This model and packaging work great. I think this is my fifth set on second printer (first one got moved to the kids' room) have never had an issue. The plug and play aspect is excellent. I remember when replacing ink cartridges was a serious logic exercise!! Now no pain at all. I highly recommend this product.
