The printer would recognize the cartridges, but it would only print a few very faint lines. There are other remanufactured cartridges out there that do work; however, these did not.

To pay the high price of the Epson named inks. This 1st cartridge installed the same, printed the same, but cost a whole lot less. Very pleased, hope the 2nd will be as good as the 1st but will be a couple of months before I find out. These are used for a small business environment so gets regular, daily use. Recommended! I WILL be back to purchase my ink here!

If you expect this ink to be anything like OEM carts forget about it. They are fine for printing documents and things of that nature. But it took a good number of cleanings and 1/5 of the carts before they would even print properly. I will use these for coupons and things of that nature but for photos forget about it. Don't care how many five anyone else gives the product it is what it is the cheapest of cheap ink. If you mainly print documents with lots of black these will get the job done cheap.

Simple: Great price, great product. I was worried about leakage or blocked ink, but that hasn't occurred. So far, with as much as my husband has printed pictures they have lasted long enough for my liking. I am satisfied that they will last as long as OEM products. I was given an Epson R300 with plugged ducts. So I gambled less than $10 for ink to blow them out. After 2 cleaning cycles, there was still some dropout. I let it sit for a couples days. It now works perfectly.

The product shipped and arrived quickly. However, the blue ink cartridge was leaky upon arrival while the other two cartridges were fine. I cleaned off the messy residual ink and got my hands inked stained in the process. A couple of hand washes should remove that pesky ink. I then replaced the old cartridges with the refurb ones, printed a test page, and, wouldn't you know, the test page came out just fine. Ink levels look good and now I'm ready to rock and roll. Overall, the product seems to work fine, but I'm disappointed in the packaging.

This company sent me cartridges made with slave labor in China when I ordered the reman cartridges described in this ad. Here is what happened:

VERY disappointed. You advertised this item as rebuilt, but it's not. It's from some company in China. The replacement cartridges are not made in Singapore like the originals, and the entire shape of your cartridges is very different from the originals.

I put in the yellow one and got a message on my printer that said, " Yellow Cartridge Not Recognized", and it made me shut it down, and it won't operate with your yellow cartridge. I put in an empty old cartridge. Then I tried your " cyan", or blue ink cartridge. The printer kept saying, " No blue cartridge. Severe damage to print head may result."

Send me an RMA and give me my money back! Shame on you for selling such a BAD PRODUCT.

So far so goo. When I initially received the 3 cartridges. The Yellow did not work. My printer would not recognize it. I immediatelly called customer service. They walked me through the process, but it still did not work. They said they would send out another for me, I received it and installed, and it's worked good. Colors maybe a bit off from the Lexmark OEM, but for $20.00 you can't beat it. I would buy again.

These cartridges did not work with my Prevail Pro 705 Lexmark printer. I tried both ways that they recommend and the printer did not accept the cartridges. I then finally pried the old RF ID tag from the empty cartridges and put them on these. They were recognized, but after a few days (not printing much color) the printer claimed they are empty and need to be replaced (even though you could see they are full of ink). Lexmark has a time-out on all of their cartridges to make you buy their overpriced ones.

I like Brother inkjet printers because they offer the least expensive OEM (original equipment manufacturer) cartridges of all the major brands (e.g., HP, Canon, Epson, Lexmark & Brother) while providing good print quality. As with many of you, I was tempted early on to use the least expensive replacement ink cartridges that I could find. These substitute cartridges worked OK in the short haul. In the long haul, however, for multiple brands of printers, I found myself having to run the print head cleaner cycle more & more frequently with continued degrading of print quality. For just about every printer where I used inexpensive replacement ink cartridges, I had to eventually replace the print head or get a new printer. My conclusion is that use of non-OEM printer cartridges over the long term reduces the life of the print head. I now have two Brother printers. My first one, where I have been using Brother OEM cartridges exclusively, is now over 10 years old and I have not any problems with degrading print quality or the print head. I cannot say the same for the other printers I have owned where I used inexpensive non-OEM print cartridges. I intend to follow the same plan of using only OEM cartridges (LC1003) in my new Brother printer.

Unless you do regular broad spectrum color printing, certain colors will tend to be printed more than others. This is why you want to have a printer where the color cartridges can be replaced separately. It follows that you then purchase cartridges only for the colors that you use up. It is more cost effective, however, to purchase the 3 packs of the color cartridges. For me, it means that I may have a extra 1 or 2 yellow cartridges, which is the least used color for my printing purposes.

OK I was skeptical of a deal too good to be true, but the ink works great in my Epson printer just like the Epson ink, only amazingly less expensive. I never would have guessed 8 blacks, and 4 each of the other ink cartridges for this price. Do remember to pull the yellow vent tab on the cartridge when you install it. And the black ink displayed as "K" on my printer when showing the ink level status. I will buy this again for my current printer or any other printer I get in the future. The only part I don't know if the durability of the ink long term, but for me that doesn't matter. I can't tell the difference between the Epson ink and this ink in my documents.

This black cartridge goes with my HP Deskjet 694C. I have gone through numerous cartridges and for the most part it prints crystal clear. Some of the only drawbacks comes when its time to print large photographs with a lot of dark colors, as you might expect it uses an aweful lot of ink, especially when you have it on the highest quality settings, and sometimes it doesn't cover completely smooth, but really, most people use printers for text only, and with this cartridge it works great. One bad thing about this might be, when you are getting low on ink, it sometimes has a tendance to smear. Usually this is caused by dust or paper fiber which it has picked up, and it can be cleaned.

I do not think it is the same quality I'm used to with a HP 29.

After trying several brands of reprocessed ink cartridges for this obsolete printer and getting poor print quality I saw these on Amazon for a price that looked too good to be true. I ordered three #29 HP original cartridges and the printer came back to life.It is now back to being my workhorse unit for non-critical file work. I've owned a Z43 purchased back in 2001 knowing that replacement ink cartridges would be pricey (personal laser jets were not affordable even when my tech heavy portfolio was doing well). However, I was willing to make that tradeoff since the printer was highly rated and reasonably priced. My color printing requirements are relatively modest, about 1-2 pages/week. Here is a review of this product with a historical perspective.

2001 cartridges: Excellent

2002 cartridges: Good

2003 cartridges: Fair

2004 cartridges: Extremely poor

Over the years, the quality of the cartridges has deteriorated significantly along with the quality of the retail packaging. I've always bought from reputable retailers, including Amazon, but who knows whether these retailers were buying authentic cartridges or unknowingly moving counterfeits that were slipped into the wholesale channels?

My most recent and FINAL purchase of the 15M0120 color cartridge was from Target last month (July 04). I print in color about once a week, and the cartridge was dead in one month. Good thing that I bought it on sale for only $25, since those four color prints cost me ONLY $6.25 each...

I attempted to exchange it but even Target with its GENEROUS return/exchange policy politely told me to call their corporate 800-number. The Target voice response system then referred me to a Lexmark 800 number. After being placed on hold for tech support even though I wanted to make a warranty claim, I finally gave up. For kicks, I checked Lexmark's website only to find out that problems with printing supplies are supposed to be handled with the retailer.

THUS, NEITHER THE RETAILER NOR MANUFACTURER WILL STAND BEHIND THIS PRODUCT.

It's not worth my time to pursue this matter any further, but I figure that a review of the product is my way of saying GOODBYE.

(BTW, I haven't had any problems with the black ink cartridges 12A1970.)

Printers have a way of selling relatively cheap, knowing that the money is not in the printer itself but the ink. This is true for Lexmark. It is also true for every other printer of any quality. Point being, yes, my Lexmark cartridges are expensive, and occasionally I buy the cheap re-fill carts, but nevertheless, the Z51 is an awesome printer that I will own for years!

well , this product has a great price and delivery was fast .

i knew that it was refurbished or remanufactured but my printer is 5 years old and i decided to take a chance .

first when they arrived i found that both had the wrong color guard on the cartridge .

the black ink cartridge had a blue guard and the color ink cartridge had a black guard .

this made every thing confusing because DELL uses the color blue to let you know that this is the color cartridge .

i ran the dell print test and all the color grids passed and all the color was dry with no leaks or smears .

so far my only complaint is the LOW INK ALERT , my DELL printer has not recognized these remanufactured cartridges .

every time i check my ink level it still shows LOW ink from the old cartridges .
