If a print is important (e.g. for an exhibit) this is my first choice. Great blacks, rich colors and a wonderful "feel".

I'm an illustrator and I sell a lot of prints using my epson 1280. Considering at the time of my purchase the t009 color cart cost more than [X], the t007 more than [X], and paper costs, I was really cutting into by profits. I needed to find a lower cost solution for printing. And after extensive research I found that just sticking with epson cartridges was the best solution for the moment.
The problem with these epson cartridges is that they have a "smart chip" attached to each cart. These chips allow for real time monitoring of ink usage, but more importantly it prevents you from refilling your cartridge with the third party inks. However, there are many viable solutions to the chip problem like hardware and software chip resetters that resets the chip to full status. With the chip out of the way, you still have the problem of refilling ink with a syringe which is not worth the time nor effort and is very messy.
Another solution I opted for was to go with third party cartridges. In my experience with these carts I have found that it is really tricky to get as good of colors like epson ones. Sometimes they come out too red or too green. Other times too blue or yellow. The thing is, Epson printers using epson profiles are meant to be used with Epson inks. When they developed these print profiles they were using only Epson inks. That is why you will always get skewed results with any third party ink.
The ultimate solution to the 3rd party ink problem is to purchase custom profiles or profiling software and install a continuous flow system so that you don't have to mess with refilling ink. It will save you in the long run, but be prepared to plop down a few hundred for the setup. But if you are on a budget, you don't print a hundred prints per month, and want good results, just stick with the original Epson carts. By the way, they're pretty cheap now.

I have produced literally stunning photo prints from my Sony Mavica CD300 digital camera with my Epson Stylus Photo 1280. It's only possible using Epson ink. I too have tried the "save a buck" approach with knock off 3rd party ink cartridges. Don't waste your money! The only true to life results you will get is by using Epson inks.The colors are vivid and brilliant. 13X19 prints are spectacular with them.
BTW, I should also mention that the absolute best results I get are by using Epson premium glossy papers as well.
So if you want professional results and photograph prints that will knock your socks off, stick with Epson paper and inks for your Epson printer. It's worth the cost and you won't be disappointed.

The colors are very good (blues) to outstanding (reds and blacks-the black is in its own separate cartridge of course). I get about 20-30 full page 8x10 color prints on Matte paper per color cartridge. This is a much more realistic idea of ink use than Epson's claim of over 300 with 5% coverage...you buy this printer to do photos, not to make text pages with a little color on them. Although I suspected as much, when I received these cartridges they were some off-brand made in China. Everything in the listing said "Epson" and even showed Epson packaging (I saved the original page), so I thought maybe these were just grey market instead of being made for sale in the US. Some off-brands can really foul up a printer, and who knows about fading, etc., so I'm not about to use them. I've returned the items, so we'll see if I get a prompt refund.

fast shipping, ordered friday 5pm and arrived monday at 2pm (although i do live 10miles away). the ink was very good, i would have given it a 5star but i needed ink for a photo project that was half done. i spend 60$ on hp ink then half way i ran out so i ordered this package. i made 150 copies of one picture 75 looked great from original hp ink. the other 75 looked good but just couldn't match the original one. its great for regular day to day paper use and ive saved a bunch of money, ive refilled my ink 4times and still have enough to last me along time. i will definitely order more. thanks, 5 stars to the seller.

originally I was skeptical as the ink drained out of the cartridge I refilled first but I later learned you cant refill cartridges that have been sitting and dried out. Works better refilling cartridges that either still have ink in them or have recently emptied. Two refills work just fine. One attempt produced colors that were not correct still cant figure what cause that.Overall I think its worth the money since ink refills are so expensive.Friday, November 7, 2014
Brother Model IN710C Multicolor Ink Cartridge Review
The only good thing I can say about this product , it shipped in a timely manner was packaged well.
When I put it in the machine it didn't produce any ink, it appeared to be dried up.
Wasted my money this was expensive, I will not purchase ink online ever again. If I can't find it in the store I will have to do with out.
I do not recommend this product, I may have just received a bad cartridge not willing to take that chance again.

The Brother Model IN710c Multicolor Ink Cartridge worked great in my word processor. It is a shame howver that I need only black ink for the items I half to print out and that this type of Ink Cartridge is so hard to find and is so expensive. I bought the Kodak printer because it was supposed to use less ink, or the ink was cheaper. Well, that's just advertising hype. This little cartridge ran out in a month, and I don't do that much printing. The real kicker is that I didn't print anything color, yet the color cartridge ran out also. I asked Kodak about it, and they say the print head automatically cleans itself after every use and used both inks for that. So, I fed this think color ink to clean itself. Sheesh! Wish I had known this BEFORE I bought the printer.

Kodak ink has always been known for it's quality & this is no exception. The color saturation was excellent. The price of the ink cartridge was nice as well.The only problem I had is that it did not deliver nearly as many pictures
as I expected. I printed 50 4 x 6 pictures & ran out of color ink. I definitley
expected more than that.

The problem is not with the ink, the problem is with Kodak's junky printers leaving me stuck with this ink. Kodak printers cannot run on black ink alone, forcing their consumers to purchase the color cartridge to get the black ink cartridge run. Neither cartridge prints unless both cartridges have ink. That in itself would only be an inconvenience IF Kodak Printers didn't have what SHOULD BE a RECALL item. I returned 2 Kodak Printers for the exact same issue. The paper feed on the printer jams. If you type 'Kodak Printer' into an Internet search engine you will find "paper jam" in the majority of the reviews. It is a shame because the price is right. Kodak claims it has the lowest total ink replacement cost. But this is not true. The ink runs out very fast. I have to constantly replace the ink cartridge and I have not done much printing. I used to have an HP printer the ink cartridge lasted much longer. Kodak is misleading customers.I am thinking of getting rid of my Kodak printer even though it is working perfectly and buying an HP or a Cannon instead. The cost of replacing the ink cartridge makes the printer not worth it.

Review of UNIVERSAL REFILL SYSTEM (WIN 98SEME2000XPVISTA)
This is definitely the way to go versus buying a new cartridge however it took two of us to be able to refill an HP cartridge. We couldn't get enough "suction" to empty the air out of the cartridge without one of us holding the cartridge and the other one holding the syringe/suction cup. Works like a champ once we got all the air out of the cartridge.

I would reccomend these to anyone ... They work exactly like the expensive ones, only much cheaper... I can't tell the difference.. I have bought them twice now, and will continue to.. The whole famiy uses the copier And we have never had a problem with the ink cartridges.

Back in December of 2012 we purchased this printer cartridge from DEALTHON here on Amazon, we installed it on our printer on May of this year. Since the last week of July, the paper started coming out with wrinkles and ink drops on the paper. Things kept worsening to the point of printing a document, and the whole left corner of the paper was smeared with ink, and the paper prints out crumbled. After having our printer inspected, the problem ended up being the cartridge which is defective. We contacted the seller to try to exchange the defective cartridge, but DEALTHON never replied. After trying to order a return/exchange/refund through Amazon, the seller rejected the process due to "expired time lapse" without even trying to find out the details, or try to offer a viable solution. Kodak 1215581 Black Ink Cartridge Reviews
This is a good quality ink. The print quality is great and the price is really reasonable. I use my printer a lot and get at least as many pages from this $10.00 cartridge as I did from my $25.00 cartridges. I think it is a good product.
The ink also dries really fast so you don't get wet pages.
I really do like my Kodak printer and with Kodak Ink from Amazon, it's a no brainer.
But the price on Amazon is 2 dollars over the MSRP list price of $9.99.
I can't print very many black and white pages with these cartridges. They run out of ink too quick. They are small and do not have much ink in them which is obvious from how light they are right out of the package. Go figure they are only $10 as opposed to much more expensive cartridges from all of the other brands.
To complain even further the Kodak 5100 All In One printer is as slow as molasses. It is the slowest printing printer i've ever owned. I have to print everything in draft mode to get it to come out at a decent speed and then the quality is drastically reduced.
Furthermore, when the color ink runs out the printer renders itself useless. You can't even scan documents into .pdf files until you replace the black cartridge! What the heck kind of crappo design is that Kodak?!?!?!
I've owned three HP inkjet printers which all eventually died, one HP laser printer which died too, and currently the Kodak 5100 and one Canon PIXMA 1600 inkjet. Go with a Canon if you are looking. I will buy Canon PIXMA printers from here out. They are fast and are high quality at the same time.
