I bought the Kodak printer because it was supposed to use less ink, or the ink was cheaper. Well, that's just advertising hype. This little cartridge ran out in a month, and I don't do that much printing. The real kicker is that I didn't print anything color, yet the color cartridge ran out also. I asked Kodak about it, and they say the print head automatically cleans itself after every use and used both inks for that. So, I fed this think color ink to clean itself. Sheesh! Wish I had known this BEFORE I bought the printer.

In the description it says it will 335 pages. I havent printed 30 or 40 pages and its already saying I'm low on black toner. Ridiculous.

Kodak ink has always been known for it's quality & this is no exception. The color saturation was excellent. The price of the ink cartridge was nice as well.

The only problem I had is that it did not deliver nearly as many pictures

as I expected. I printed 50 4 x 6 pictures & ran out of color ink. I definitley

expected more than that.

The problem is not with the ink, the problem is with Kodak's junky printers leaving me stuck with this ink. Kodak printers cannot run on black ink alone, forcing their consumers to purchase the color cartridge to get the black ink cartridge run. Neither cartridge prints unless both cartridges have ink. That in itself would only be an inconvenience IF Kodak Printers didn't have what SHOULD BE a RECALL item. I returned 2 Kodak Printers for the exact same issue. The paper feed on the printer jams. If you type 'Kodak Printer' into an Internet search engine you will find "paper jam" in the majority of the reviews. It is a shame because the price is right. KODAK PRINTERS are JUNK!

Kodak claims it has the lowest total ink replacement cost. But this is not true. The ink runs out very fast. I have to constantly replace the ink cartridge and I have not done much printing. I used to have an HP printer the ink cartridge lasted much longer. Kodak is misleading customers.

I am thinking of getting rid of my Kodak printer even though it is working perfectly and buying an HP or a Cannon instead. The cost of replacing the ink cartridge makes the printer not worth it.
