I've been using SG's cartridges in a Canon MX870 for over a year, and I print a lot of photos. Their performance in printing seems every bit as good as those from Canon. My only reason for giving four stars instead of five is a subjective impression that they don't last quite as long, and they start triggering the "almost empty" warning very quickly, sometimes after printing only a dozen pages or so. I haven't done any objective measurement, and it's possible, I guess, that this is something Canon had programmed into the driver, to react when a non-Canon cartridge is detected. But it's annoying to get the warning that a cartridge is almost empty, and find the warning light flashing when I open the printer cover, only to find that ink is still visibly sloshing around in the cartridge when I remove it.

Still, I don't hesitate to recommend these to others.The performance in use is equal, and the minor annoyance is by far negated by the price difference. I can get four complete sets of these for what it costs to get one set of the Canon product, and those four sets will last several times longer than the one.

I have ordered ink replacement cartridges now for 5 years from Sophia Global and have NEVER been disappointed. I use them in my Canon iP4600 and Canon MP210. They have NEVER caused any negative performance on this inkjet printers and at the Sophia price, I can use my inkjets often and not worry about ink cost sending me to the "poor house".

We do a lot of printing on DVD labels for our clients so finding a reasonably priced source for ink is essential to keep supplies costs down. So far I have gone through 3/4ths of these, one didn't fit well, one had a goofy chip and the printer thought it was already used but the rest have worked just fine. I will order them again. Just be accurate on how you put them in, let Epson run its silly cycle on the replacement routine and don't expect every one of them to work perfectly and you will be just fine! The black is truly black (my biggest worry) and dry well even to the DVD plastic surface.

Great product! I have been using these from OC probably for about a year and have never had a bad cartridge (yet). I was printing an E Book I purchased today and was curious how many pages I would get since I had just put in a new black cartridge. The answer about 150 pages. It took me two full cartridges to print 339 pages and I replaced the second cartridge towards the very end. I would not be able to print what I do if I did not use the refilled cartridges. It took me a few years to give them a try but I was forced into it by the outrageous prices. I'm glad I did.

These work in my printer every bit as well and as long as original HP cartridges. My HP machine "didn't recognize" the cartridge as an authorized HP product. I easily remedied this by unplugging/replugging the power supply. Ready to go!! The price . . . speaks for itself.

But seriously, if you can't tell it's time to replace the cartridge by the way it's printing, you probably deserve to pay full price for the ink. The cartridges arrived quickly. The only problem I has was the recomendation to do a "deep clean". My HP K5400 really didn't respond well to the command prompts for this.

After re-booting the computer the new cartridges have been working really well. They came pre-filled so I haven't actually used the extra ink bottles that came with them. I don't see any difference in print quality between this ink and the expensive factory replacements. I really like the fact that I will be keeping so many palstic parts out of the land-fill as well.

I bought this product as a way to save some money in the end was a waste of money. The yellow cartridge got damage before two months of use and I don't use to much my printer and I only use my printer twice a week. The only answer I got from the seller service was to BUY A NEW CARTRIDGE.

I strongly suggest on buying the remanufacture cartridges for this kind of printers they are cheap and work great. I had been using them for years and they rock. Don't waste your money.

I was very nervous when I bought this, other reviewers had issues with leaks. I have had no issues at all. I was careful to keep my cartridges upright and have re-refilled one so far. Overall I am pleased. It's not difficult or messy and the printer still prints and copies very well.

UPDATE: about 6 months after purchasing and using this, my black ink stopped printing completely it appears the supply lines got clogged. It could be coincidence, it might not be I can't tell but I no longer have my MFP about 6 months after using this product. To this day, the other colors still work and I have only a very very large scanner.

My HP K8600 didn't work with them.

Got a replacement cartridge when it looked like the only problem was the cyan cartridge. Didn't help the problem when the cyan cartridge was installed, the other 3 print cartridges were no longer recognized. As the K8600 is an oddball wide carriage printer, I think it's a compatibility issue.

Was offered a return by the manufacturer, but I'd have to pay shipping back to them.

Counting packing them up and sending them in a box from the Post Office, plus driving there, I'd be out at least ten bucks not including my time....

So, I kept the ink for the continuous ink system I finally put on the printer, as it wasn't worth returning.

Looks like a decent ink cartridge, but I'd recommend NOT trying it with the K8600.

Bought this ink refill system over a year ago and I am still printing strong! I use my printer almost daily and I do a fair amount of high-volume print jobs. The cost of this system is very reasonable...under $50 for pre-filled cartridges and bulk ink refill bottles that will refill the reusable cartridges at least 8 times before you have to buy more ink. The cartridges can be used over and over because they come with an Auto Reset Chip on each cartridge. When the ink is out, my printer will tell me which cartridge needs to be refilled. I remove that cartridge, refill it, and snap back into its cartridge slot and can continue printing just as if I had a continuous ink supply. By the way, this company has a Continuous Ink Supply System for most of the major printers sold today. If you don't see yours, just contact them and ask about availability.

I am currently using this product and it works great in my printer but I am thinking about upgrading to a CISS for my Epson printer. I like this company and their products and highly recommend them to other customers who may not have thought about refillable ink cartridges before. Take a look at what they offer and give it a try. You won't be disappointed! I promise!

When I first got them, there was some problems tripping the sensor that the ink was full. It resolved by itself, so I didnt worry about it. Then, I noticed that when printing with these cartridges, a funny odor would come from my printer and my paper would smell like what I can only compare to Windex. Today, when I cleaned the cartridges and printed a print quality check, the yellow looked black! I didnt know why, so I removed the yellow and ink came gushing out of the cartridge! A literal stream until I tilted the cartridges upside down. These have been in the printer for about 3 months, so the leaking problem didn't start right away.

I've purchases much better ink from Amazon for the Brother printer. Do yourself a favor and find one of them to avoid the strange smell, compatibility problems with the "out of ink" sensor, and leaking ink.

I bought this ink, figuring that, at worst, the low cost non-OEM ink would result in inaccurate colors and low output per cartridge. What I got was ink that gummed up the print head of my MFC-5840CN, rendering it "unable to print". Shame on whoever made this crappy ink for making me buy a new printer!

I replaced the Cyan cartridge and it started to bleed inside my printer, then I replaced the black cartridge. When printing it kept cleaning the printer but still printed the pages in scribble couldn't see or read what was printed. I cleaned the printer, did a alignment and cartridge color check and it printed fine but when I printed my document the color was faded and black was gray. I guess you get what you pay for. I'll just go and purchase the original cartridges which I know will work.

This is a problem, because if you don't put the cartridge in the machine, and THEN take the tape off, INK WILL SPILL all over you and your desk, etc.! There should be some instructions directing you on how to use this company's particular kind of Ink Cartridge. That would make a world of difference. As I have only used 2 out of the pack of 12, I cannot judge the entire package. When ready to order again I might write something. So far, the two I have used print fine. Keeping fingers crossed.

The Toner cartridge solved a grinding noise problem that I was experiencing on my brother color laser printer. The other cyan cartridge was 4 years old and was stiff on turning the drum on it. The new one turns more freely. Only thing about it though is that when I tipped it to the right, toner spilled out. But, it didn't seem to cause a problem with the print quality.

I've used Epson printers for years now, because they have a good track record of being able to handle Offbranded cartridges. These work fine, the printers doesn't know the difference, and since I'm not printing high-end photos or etc.,the quality is perfect for my needs.

I have used this ink in my Canon Pixma MG 2120. If you school going kids then this is very good ink for ordinary purpose. But if you want high quality printing or for office use, I will recommend original ink. The drill for making a whole is so small that you can use it easily. I made the whole in the cartridge with hot needle. I have not used this ink for photo printing on photo paper. I think it as good choice for ordinary purpose printing.

My old print head would not print all colors anymore but it worked. I received this new print head in good time like almost everything I order from Amazon.

However this new head everytime I put it in screws up the printer and I end up going through a long re-boot process. I did not contact the seller as I usually find that is a worthless endevour and I had to get my office running.

I had to ditch the old printer and simply get a new one.

If you are trying to save an old printer like I was I would reccomend not trying this route and simply get a new one for the price difference.

Worked perfectly out of the box. The plastic on the back (that has the 'wires' imbedded in it) somehow began to tear over time and the blue stopped working....maybe I damaged it while cleaning or ?? Anyway, no issues with this replacement at all.

Compatible Refillable Cartridge for Epson Artisan 800 810 710 700 Review

I used these cartridges successfully on an Epson Artisan 800 all in one printer. According to the provided directions, you have to replace the original Epson cartridges as a set with filled cartridges. I found that I was able to add one cartridge at a time with no issues. Color photos remained accurately color balanced even with a mixture of Epson and refilled cartridges. That allows you to finish your existing cartridges as they become empty and replace them one at a time with the refillable cartridges. The ink level readings from the printer may, or may not, be accurate when you use these cartridges so a word of caution, check your ink levels by visual inspection frequently. Since these cartridges are made of polypropylene, you can see the ink level in the cartridges easily. Ink refilling can be messy, and the dye inks can stain clothing, skin, and surfaces. Protect surfaces with aluminum foil and paper towels when filling. I would suggest wearing rubber gloves if you want to avoid staining your hands. Rinse the syringes and needles immediately after use with clean or preferably filtered water and allow to air dry. I did not try the ink from this seller, but I will when I run out of inks I had purchased previously. Another important point is that all ink jet printers rely on ink that is free of particulate matter. So it is best to keep the syringes and needles as clean as possible and avoid contaminating the ink bottles. If you do accidentally stain a surface, you can use a little bleach to remove the ink stain, but rinse immediately afterwards with clean water to avoid bleach damage to the surface.

Note: I was totally unsuccessful when attempting to reuse/refill Epson cartridges. The chip resetter I bought did not work, so the printer rejected the attempt to install with the small amount of ink I was able to put in the cartridge. The Epson cartridge itself is designed to frustrate attempts to refill it (They used multiple convoluted chambers connected by small orifices which causes an air lock when you attempt to refill, no matter where you may try to drill the refill hole.)

Bottom line: I would highly recommend purchasing these refillable cartridges.

Update: 10-21-12

The cartridges continue to work well after over one year of use. I found that when the printer "thinks" that a particular cartridge is empty it tells you so and stops printing. Just open and close the printer cover and it will read that ink cartridge as refilled. (I recommend filling that cartridge with ink at this point so that the actual level is also "full". In that way, you will eventually have all 6 cartridges be accurately reported in the display). One other recommendation I have is to make sure the printhead prints "color" photos or multicolor web pages at least weekly. You can also use the printhead test page to make sure all colors are not "dried out" in the head or ink lines. Never EVER let the ink in any of the cartridges go dry!! You may not be able to recover from this as the dried ink in the head and lines will cause a blockage that would be difficult or impossible to clear.

I bought a continuous ink system off of amazon and loved it, but after a year I began to receive an error that one of the cartridges could not be read. I finally bought these refillable ones, and just used the hardware from my cis to turn these into a cis. it worked great. so far my printer has been printing great pictures. and now instead of having one board for all the colors, each have their own individual. so if I get one color not being able to read again I can just replace the one, instead of all of them

Didn't have much luck with cartridges. Probably my fault. I let the old cartridges empty before installing these cartridges and printer would not accept them as Epson originals. Ended up trashing Epson printer and replaced with a Brother printer. Purchased new cartridges for Brother and work great with it.
