I bought a cartridge from OCinkjet and the date to be used by was 8-2008. I wouldn't buy unless they communicate that you are getting fresh ink. Maybe people don't usually check. I check the expiration on things like milk and ink. Maybe they usually deal with slow people

When I purchased the ink, it said it was new, when I put the cartridge into my printer and it was recognized the printer said a used ink cartridge was just installed, I believed I was buying a new cartridge, otherwise I could of taken my old cartridge myself and taken it to local Walgreens pharmacy and they would of refilled it for me for the same price and no waiting time for delivery, this is why I was disappointed, the ink seems to work fine, but honestly that the product was only refilled should of be upfront.
