The kit have the needles for filling each color. The bottle has 2 oz fl. I guess each bottle might fill 9 to 10 times each cartridge.

So printer ink is expensive but it's required even in this paperless society, but Brother has started to play the same tricks as HP. Once an ink cartridge runs out, printing won't work (at least true on the recent 2011 and newer MFPs). No scanning, no faxing, and no printing (even when not using that color).

If that happens to you, you can "trick" the printer by covering the clear plastic on the print cartridge with colored tape. You can see the area to cover by looking for the float lever in the cartridge (turn it upside down and you'll see it appear and disappear). Put the cartridge back in and the printer will register the ink as full since it thinks the float lever is up and you're good to go.

I suppose if you're going to have to buy ink, getting this 2 pack of the large refills is the best best unless you want to try your luck at the ink refill shops. It worked out as the best price for me.

I installed this new cartridge (supposed to be original Brother) on my Brother MFC-J630W printer and it only took a few days for the printer the start printing bad. I have had this printer for about two years and it never missed a beat; It printed perfectly until today. I have made the printer go through the cleaning process several times and the more I do it, the worse it gets. I always buy my cartridges from Best Buy but this time I wanted to save a little money and not have to drive to Best Buy so I ordered from Amazon. It is supposed to be an original Brother cartridge but I think I (and maybe Amazon) have been duped. I had no problem with the black installment. Now on the other hand, the color cartrage was reading a bit low on the HP leveler. I may or may not order these next time , I have to wait and see how long they will last.I use my printer 1-3 times a week at my bisest time printing from 1-6 pages if that' about 9 -11 days a month... you can do the math around that.

I got a set of these a while back and they worked fine for a while and then just stopped working correctly. ( I had given them a good review at first) I thought I'd give them another try and ordered more. These came and were a different brand than the first set so I was hoping they'd do better. I put them in and they were worse than the first set. They didn't print the black at all, the other colors were streaking and the printer didn't want to work correctly. I tossed these and bought Lexmark cartridges. That was money wasted (twice) :( Lesson learned!

UltraChrome K3 is great stuff, I just wish it weren't so expensive. Since it's the same no matter where you get it, you might as well go for the lowest price.

Regarding yellow ink specifically: keep in mind that your yellow cartridge is going to get consumed faster than the others if your printing is fairly average over the primary colors. This is because you have two shades of magenta ink, two shades of cyan, and three shades of black, but only one shade of yellow. So every other color has 2 or 3 cartridges to draw from while Yellow only has one. This ink will get used whenever red, yellow, or green are printed and green especially occurs very commonly due to the fact that plants are green and plants very often occur in photos.

So even if you just bought a new printer and don't buy any other color ink right away, you might want to just order an extra yellow with your printer because you're most likely to run out of it first.

With all due respect, Il consider that the instructions you sent me with the product are insufficient.

First of all, I bought a CISS for a printer WF-7510 but the instruction sheet shows a different type of printer... Although the system is generic, but installation instructions show no crucial details, for example, the fixing end of the tubes to the system in the print heads. The printer that you show is for small prints letter size, WF-7510 is much wider and it was not clear how the tubes were set so as not to interfere with the movement of print heads.

Second, Videos you send me show a very different system for fixing the tubes, show accessories that were not in the box.

Because of the lack of clear instructions, I did a lot of damage to the printer Because the tubes were tangled, wrapped and barred the print heads.

In this moment, I am currently trying to fix a new printer of $180 ... I damaged printer because of the inaccuracy of his instructions.

I have had nothing but trouble with these cartridges. The printer says they are either empty or not installed at all, when I get it to copy (it won't print from the computer with these cartridges in it) the blue is absent, prints everything in pink. Tried every troubleshooting solution that I could find on the internet but there is no fix for second rate products. I guess I got what I paid for. Now it is going to cost me sooo much more because I have to go to the office store and pay for the REAL thing.

These re-manufactured ink cartridges work ok. The only problem I have is that they don't reboot the low ink warning indicator on the unit. I also had this problem on a Canon 6100 printer when I didn't use "new" cartridges. At least with the Lexmark Printer, the warning indicator doesn't actually shut down the printer like the Canon does so as long as u can deal with that, re-manufactured cartridges work fine...

After installation of refilled black & color cartridges, I printed the alignment page but only the color portion printed. As noted on a previous comment, I received the same notice of inncorrect cartridges installed. I then noticed there were 2 small squares on the original Lexmark cart. strip that were not present on the replacement ones. That may be what the printer looks for to verify it as correct for that model. In any case the refilled cart. should be original Lexmark products.

the black ink is ink, but the color ran out in like three color copys. I made copys of the nfl symbol it didnt even have a lot of coverage..like they say u get what u pay for :(
