I am not so sure I would buy from this person again.

They are leaking all over the inside of my printer.

Also the tape you peel off of them before you use for the first time, was very loose. Normally on a NEW cartridge these give a little tug before they pull off.

My review would be right in the middle.

Nothing fancy to report here about Lexmark (Mexico) ink cartridges. They produce great quality black and white or color printing.

Pros:

Easy installation and setup

Great printing results (give props here to the printer too which is a Lexmark (Made in Mexico)

Cons:

Cartridges are small

You run out of ink pretty quick if you do a lot of printing

Too pricey (this is why buying printers is so cheap because they make money off of selling ink cartridges)

Footnote:

My next printer will be a monochrome as color printing is not important to me. Printing is expensive no matter how you look at it. The cheapest way to go is monochrome printing. One cartridge will give you several hundreds of copiies unlike these cartridges that will give you maybe 50-60 color prints.

These individual color cartridges work great and prevent having to replace a multi-color cartridge. The only issue is that their ink volume is quite low.

This cartridge perfectly matches my HP Photosmart C7180 All-in-One printer/fax/copier/scanner. Have used cartridge for 1 month. Very easy to install. It snaps into place. No fuss. No mess. No problems with it so far. The ink quality is very satisfactory for printing on normal ink-jet printer paper. Have not used it yet to print photos on photo paper. When it runs out of ink I will reorder from amazon if the shipping is still free.

This ink produces some nice photos on my HP printer. It takes a little while for the ink to totally dry (I usually give it 24 hours before framing) but the photos are clean and sharp.

The $40ish dollar cartridges I would usually buy from places like Staples or Office Depot is made in the Philippines.

I had a problem with it working at first. I went through the screen which asks if it's a new cartridge or old and selected New

then tried to print but had a problem so after finding some forums online for advice I found out that, after I triple checked that I had the cartridges in correctly,

I then had to unplug everything from the back of my Dell printer= the cord you connect to the PC and the cord you plug into the wall which I forgot can be detached from the back (it's a palm size square on the back once you pull it out. I waited 30 or 60 seconds and reconnected everything and printed a first page of an old resume and it worked. I bought this along with a black cartridge from the same seller and it works.

This product is definately not worth it's weight. I'd much rather purchase HP brand name ink cartridges. They can be redeemed at my local office supply store for a one dollar credit per cartridge. These aftermarket ones can't. Plus, their electronic tabs can be unreliable.

This product came so fast I couldn't believe it. However, when I saw where it was shipped from I understood why.

Was out of black ink for my HP officejet wireless 6500. Debated whether or not to try this method of refilling. Directions are not wonderful, but they work. I got a bunch of paper towels, put on the gloves provided, put the hyperdermic needle together, drew the ink and inserted the needle in the little depression on top of the cartridge as shown on the directions. Wasn't sure how much ink to use, but luckily as I finished pushing the plunger, ink started coming out of the bottom, which I assume means it was full. The only problem I had was the needle took a lot of pressure and twisting to insert, and when I was done it was a little hard to remove, so I pulled hard and when it came out it "splattered" a little bit of ink on my paper I had down. Probably will squeeze a kleenex or paper towel around the needle next time that I pull it out of cartridge. Anyway, printed 3 or 4 test sheets. The first couple were a little wet and I could barely smear the ink. The last one I could not smear. Also, my computer does not remind me that I am low on ink as some review stated. So, even tho this product has not been used extensively yet, I don't see why there will be problems in the future. If there is, I will re-review product.

I bought this instead of purchasing the cartridge because the colors looked fun and the "green" idea is getting to me. I was surprised at few steps it took to refill my cartridges. Will certainly purchase more.

OK, so it is a huge pain to refill ink cartridges. I would recommend looking on youtube for a demo of how to fill them. It is messy. HOWEVER, it will save you a lot of money. And this kit gives a lot of ink.

It's the 2nd time I order from these people and service was quick and as promised. Since I wasted part of 2 of the containers in my first attempt to recharge the cartridges, they IMMEDIATELY sent me 2 new bottles. Impressive.

That is the good news. The bad news is that their instructions need updating. Holding an original yellow closing tab or piece of eraser with a rubber band to the outlet will prevent spills. I found that filling on that outlet side -that contains internal spongesmay dislodge some which may lead to spilling. I found that making a hole about 2x the size of the filling needle on the opposite (window) side with a pointed knife and then reclosing with a very cheap hot glue gun is fast, clean and effective.

Rather than paying big bucks to HP and wasting cartridges, this brings the cost of color printing probably down by 90% and it feels good to beat the system.

Also important, DO NOT over fill: it's easier to do more refills than deal with excess ink running out. It's tempting to overfill however. Then, one may have to use the lever to the right of the cartridge holder and gently clean the printhead itself.

They could consider offering as an option for say $5 more an additional color by choice since not all inks run out at the same speed.

Dirty Works, highly recommended.

HP has gone out of its way to make sure you can't refill these cartridges. Their cartridges have a computer chip which means you have to guess when the cartridges need filling. The lesson is to never buy anything with HP on it if you can avoid it. That said, the printer seems to work fine when you fill the cartridges with ink from this refill kit. Amazon kept pressing for a review before I could give you some idea how much money you would eventually save, but the kit costs less than a new set of cartridges and there's plenty of ink left. My guess is that you will save about $4 for every $1 you spend on the kit. You may save even more. After replacing the heads, be sure to "deep clean" the heads.

These cartridges are great! The fit is a little different than the Lexmark brand (you don't get the "snap" when it is in all the way), but I haven't had any problems with the color or texture of the ink.

These are very poor quality cartridges. My printer is new, working just fine, ran out of ink and decided to buy this brand. After changing the cartridges (all 4), the result is a faded blue printed page. I would NOT recommend buying them. They may have been cheap but now I'll have to go buy a better quality cartridge and throw these out. You get what you pay for.

Negatives: The knock-off ink is smelly, like it has high VOC content or something. It's probably unhealthy, but you use so little ink that I wouldn't worry about it. Print outs smell for a minute or two. I've had one out of ten cartridges leak when I opened it since I started using Sophia Global generics, but I've had a Canon OEM cart do the same, so I can't blame the off-brand for that. The cartridges do seem to run out of ink faster than OEM, but not dramatically. Independent testing shows that colors from knock-off carts always fade faster, but I have not tested that myself.

Pro's: These cost more than 80% less than Canon charges for OEM carts.

Conclusion: These cartridges aren't as good as real ones. For nice photos, I'd steer clear since generics are said to fade and quality matters more than price for something you hang on the wall. Other than that, though, these work just fine. They might a third worse than genuine, but they cost 80% less. Do the math. The same number of cartridges from Canon would cost a minimum of $164 off their company site. In the worst possible case, a generic tank blows up in your printer and ruins it. If you got just ONE 12 pack worth of savings before the fakes destroyed your printer, you would still have saved over $130. With that amount of savings, you can march down to the store and buy a brand new Canon printer, no problem.

Like many HP inject printers, you have to buy these at inflated prizes. My printer is a office jet pro and has black and color cartridges. When you want to print just black, they designed it so it takes a combination of all cartridges to print black. So if I have run out of one of the 3 color cartridges, you can not print in black even if the document does not need color. This is a real scheme by HP. Also, the brain chip on these cartridges makes it almost impossible to buy non HP ones as the printer knows it is a cheaper alternate and good luck to try to get it to work. I rated 1 star to this company, who I hope goes out of business soon as they are in trouble. Maybe because people see through their schemes like this.

I took a chance and ordered one of these re-manufactured cartridges a couple weeks ago. So far all is well with it. The cartridge arrived in excellent condition and there is no typical evidence that it had ever been used before or refilled. The only evidence I could visually see holding it next to my former factory cartridge was, it looks to be re-chipped for the printers ink level display system. The chip itself looks a little different from stock, but I'm not knocking the cartridge or rating for that difference as this is merely speculation. Might not be re-chipped at all, I haven't payed much attention to the chips over the past couple years of ownership, my printer is a Photosmart D7460, perhaps HP had a chip design change.

I've always been scared to use off-brand ink in my printer, but the last time I was going on Amazon to buy a black cartridge for my HP wireless printer (around $18 for HP Brand) I saw a link to this product for less than 1/3 of the cost. I HAD to try it out because I was so sick of paying so much for ink.

I received it, put it in my printer and it prints just as well as the HP branded ink. No problems with the installation or the printer rejecting it -it acted just like I put in the HP ink!

We have 2 Brother J825DW Printers in our office, one of which is used pretty heavily (80-120 pages a week). The regular ink tank lasted about a week and a half, while this one (high yield) lasted a little over 6 weeks. Used for printing documents, shipping labels, and a few flyers or documents with photos. Much cheaper ink than the HP printers we used to use . Will keep buying Amazon has cheaper prices than our office supply store.

I made the mistake of buying lower cost ink that was not from the manufacturer. That was a nightmare. Most printers do not even allow the option of non original equipment manufacturer (OEM) products. At least with my printer I have the option to choose. Anyway this is worth the money, takes 30 seconds to replace, and there is no mess. I cannot comment on longevity only on quality. This ink is much better than the less expensive non OEM ink out there.

_Bottom Line_ Yes, I would recommend this to a friend. I have tried to go the cheaper route and paid for it in ruined paper, streaks, leaks, and poor quality printing. I have read that others ruined their printer with non Brother ink and I will only use this in the future.
