They work and do help of the cost of the ink. But you have to watch them some times they have to be returned because they won't work in your printer.

The item works just fine, however only after i cleaned the contacts with alcohol. The first time I installed the cartridge it was not ouputting all the colors so I removed it. The contacts were dirty, so I cleaned them off, reinstalled the cartridge and done deal. I suppose it would be nice if the contacts were clean to begin with.

I ordered this b/c my ink ran out and dell cost so much more. The only reason i didnt give it 5 stars is b/c i had a little difficulty placing it in the printer, but it really works, i was skeptical!

Cheap Primera Bravo II Black, & Color Combo Pak

If you own a Primera product, you already know that they are in the ink business, not the printer business. The printer is a fine product, but at around $50 bucks a pop for the cartridge, it aint cheap to operate! Given that, a two pack for around the price of one is a no brainer, if it works. Packaging was a simple plastic bag with a hard plastic cover over the cartridge. DON'T FORGET to peal off the small plastic shield that covers the cartridge to like I did!

After that, these worked like a charm.

I was initially pleased to find that there are viable alternatives to OEM cartridges. I've never used replacement cartridges other than OEM cartridges. At this moment, I'm disappointed. The printer does not seem to accept these cartridges. I've tried to resolve this on my own but the time spent in researching this issue has been considerable.

I just made a call to Sophia Global and they stated that the chip on the cartridge may be defective. They were happy to send me a replacement cartridge at no cost to me and without delay.

I'll update my review upon installation of the replacement cartridge.

Update (9/26/2011):

I received my replacement cartridges today for the HP 96 and HP 97. They're working well and without any performance problems. They're producing vivid colors with great detail.

I'd also like to state that each time I called Sophia Global they were eager and happy to correct the problem. They were rapid in their response and I received the replacement cartridges in just a few days all at no additional cost to me. Great service!

I was a little sceptical about buying a re-manufactured ink cartridge for my printer because of the outrageous prices that retail chains and printer manufacturers sell them for. I am so pleased to have found out that instead of spending $66.00 on a set of brand new cartridges (1 black and 1 color), I was able to purchase 2 sets of each (black and color cartridges) for less than $21.00 from this seller. Like so many other reviewers here, I was skeptical to purchase these refurb ink cartridges. When I put them in my printer, they were recognized as used, but it accepted them nonetheless. I printed some pictures, which turned out a little grainy, but the colors were true. I was printing pictures to put in a frame and hang on the wall, so they will really only be seen from a feet few away and from that distance they look great. These are a great product as long as you are not using them for professional work, and most certainly, the price is right. Right now I would say that I would buy these again, but I will have to watch the photos to see how the ink holds up over time.

The reds do not print. I have all fresh ink cartridges. The printer is working fine with the inks. It just doesn't print reds and pinks. I love buying these inks from you. Luckily I usually only print in black, but my printer has to have all the colors to work properly. Do you have a suggestion as to why the pink doesn't work. Thanks

This order was for two color ink cartridges. When the package arrived, it contained one black and one color, so I e-mailed the company and received an apology and a promise to correct the problem by e-mail. I responded by thanking them for their speedy response. I then decided to use the single color cartridge I received to replace a now-empty color cartridge in my printer, and discovered that it would not work. It was in fact not compatible with the D-V305 printer. This time, I called the company's customer service and dealt with an uncooperative representative who said i would be sent one color cartridge, not two. I complained about that, but she said there was no evidence that the black cartridge that I had not ordered to begin with would not work. I told her that I had no desire to put another potentially defective cartridge in my printer, but she would not yield. Today that single replacement arrive and, while it did work in my printer, my printer also showed me that the cartridge had less than one-quarter of the amount of ink required to fill it. I have e-mailed the company demanding a refund and informing them that I will not purchase from them again. I suggest that Amazon.com no longer refer any business to this clearly mismanaged company -not at all what has been my experience in dealing with other companies to which Amazon.com has referred me for a purchase._

A good bargain in terms of price, but since they are remanufactured, one of the seals was not placed correctly and I received a leaky cartridge. It didn't leak out completely, but it was a mess to install and I'm sure I will have to replace that cartridge sooner than expected.

I purchased this because of its low cost compared to Canon ink tanks and have used only one of the 10 ink tanks to date. The quality is good enough for printing. I haven't tried printing photographs yet. When I installed it my printer gave me a message I had a wrong print head though I have the original one in the printer. I took the ink tank out and put it back in again and it has worked since. If the next tank causes that to happen I'd see that as a small inconvenience for the money I saved.

Some of the cartridges, even though they are full, just won't produce the right ink flow to get good colors. I never have had the problem with OEM Canon cartridges. But at these prices, and since they come with chips, it's not a problem to discard them and use another. Too bad the ink can't be taken out and put in a good cartridge.

Since I have the smiliar kit from this company ink nova usa for the Epson NX515, and I am really happy with the kit. I got the refill kit from them for my daughter's Epson R320. I have an Epson R320 and I like to print photographs of my son for family and I ran out of ink. Did not want to spend a gazillion dollars on new Epson cartridges and knew I could refill ink cartridges easily. I found this product and saw it had a great review from someone who has the same printer as I, so I figured I'd go for it.

Got the shipment SUPER fast, that was surprising. However... my printer does recognize the ink cartridges, but when I print out a Test Nozzle page, the two cartridges I replaced (Yellow and Light Magenta) do not print. No lines, no nothing. I can not print out photos as they turn out streaky and really blue/black looking. I have cleaned out my nozzles countless times, printed nozzle check pages countless times... and NOTHING WORKS!

I feel absolutely aggravated with this. I would definitely not recommend you buy your refillable ink from here. Esp. for an Epson printer. They do not like replaceable ink.

I have a Lexmark x5650 All-In-One. Having owned several Lexmark printers and all-in-ones previously on their "buy our printer cheap, and then spends lots and lots on our printer cartridges for it's life" plan, I looked carefully at printing prices this time around.

I found if you continue to use the regular "non-XL" cartridges (a B&W and Color one of the regular cartridges generally come w/ the printer when you purchase it) the printers are some of the worst in the industry for the price per printed page. But, using these can get you more than twice as many printed pages and lowers the on-going cost to make it one of the best available options.

Here's a couple of TIPS on ways I use that also extend use of these, though they may only work for you, if like me, there are only occassions that you need to print something out in crisp color:

My default setting for printing is a quick, draft, black and white version. And, when printing a web page I choose the "text only" option and specify the number of pages. I've set up a second "profile" that is for Best Quality Color I use only on very limited occassions.

I just completely ignore when Lexmark tells me to change to the cartridge. At least on mine, I've found that it has a long way to go before it actually runs out when their software is telling me it needs to be changed immediately. In fact, even when either the black or the color cartridge says it's totally out it will still give you the option of continuing to print w/ some variation of whichever cartridge still has ink.

Bottom Line: These are the cartridges you need if you want to run your Lexmark more affordably.

You are the company. I got 'em earlier than scheduled, I needed one the very next day. Good timing. When installed, the Lexmark X4650 went through the alignment and head calibration, and AWAY WE GO I got my printer job done and even on the 'save me some ink' settings on all the computers, the print looks AWESOME. I get the recycling bags from Lexmark to send the empty ones in for recycling.

Again Amazon, thanks for the speedy service, I hate to go to Wal-Mart to get the standard cartridges for about $5.00 less.
