Ordered two of these, they came the next day, Saturday, and fit perfect.

Now I am sick thinking of all the money I wasted buying from Pitney all

these years.

Update with the new year.

Using the second of these inks and still zero problems and everything

works like it should. I am very glad I purchased these and yes,

will purchase again soon.

Here we are again with a new year just around the corner. My Mailstation

says it is low on ink, and yes, it does give me warning, unlike another review

that says there's doesn't, and they are lasting me right at about a year,

not a month like another has said. Have to order and getting these again

cause I have had no problems, and I mean none. Very clear and have not had

to clean the heads or service the machine for two years now.

Quick update: 12/23/12

Received the two I just ordered and the first one I stuck in would not produce

the test pattern. I tried three times and nothing. Stuck in my used one that

was showing low ink and got a pattern, swapped them back and still nothing.

So, opened the second one and it worked perfect. Swapped them back and still

nothing, even though there is wet ink around the discharge hole it does not work.

Put the second new one back in, did a dozen bills, tossed the one that did not

work in the trash, and I am still good with these replacement inks even though

one did not work, for the money saved I am still comming out ahead.

This ink works just as well as the OEM. These machines are a rip off with the monthly rental fee and the cost of the ink if you get it through PB. When I realized how much the monthly rental fee was, I called them up and told them it wasn't worth it. They immediately reduced the rental from $35 to $20. That added to using this generic but perfect ink and I have greatly reduced the cost of mailing.

I am so happy to have found this cartridge, at such a reasonable price! I've been trying to financially MUDDLE through my seemingly lifelong PB contract on this meter machine. Not only is the lease expensive (even though I did get a reduction), the ink, if purchased from Pitney Bowes is OUTRAGEOUS, over SIXTY DOLLARS including over $10 just to SHIP! And it doesn't last long at all.

I received my cartridge SO FAST, tried it out immediately, and I daresay it's BETTER than the one you get from the company. The ink is a nice deep dark full red. I've tried less expensive cartridges in an office supply store, but the ink was pale PINK and not approved by USPS, and even those were very expensive. I'll be back for more, until my contract runs out, thank you so much! If you're in doubt, BUY IT, you will NOT be disappointed!

I was about to bite the bullet and buy another cartridge from PB, and their website kept freezing (lucky me!). All of a sudden I thought, hmmmm...what about Amazon? SO GLAD I DID!

It just makes me SICK to think of all the money I've spent previously on these cartridges. But that's hindsight, I'm so happy now!!! Please keep selling these!! :-)

Even though these are stated to be compatible, the cartridges will not work in the Pitney Bowes machines. We could tell the ink is in the cartridge but will not work in the machine.

This is a PB replacement. Their stuff is pretty expensive, and along with shipping, even more so. I had this delivered in 2 days, no shipping (thanks Prime) and it works just fine. I will say it's a bit more bright pink than red, but that doesn't bother me a bit.
