These cartridges work well though I have only had them a few days so I can't say if they'll last as long as the manufacturer's cartridges. I've had no problems with poor colors, smearing,or dripping ink like some remanufactured cartridges I've tried before. Don't worry when the low ink alarms flash from the moment you install them. Canon and most manufacturers design their printers to only read the ink level of their own new cartridges. You can override the warning and still print (on my printer you push and hold the stop/reset button for 5 seconds) but you'll have to judge when the ink is truly getting low on your own. If printed images are starting to get fainter or parts don't print try running the clean cycle a couple times. If that doesn't help then try a new cartridge.Even if the ink doesn't last as long you are getting 3 black and 2 color cartridges for about 25% percent of what it would cost to buy that quantity of new Canon brand cartridges at the lowest prices available on Amazon. For everyday printing these are more than adequate and a great value.

After some searching online, I discovered instructions on how to force a reset on these cartridges; it involves resetting the printer to "factory mode," which includes holding down the on/off button while replugging the power cord (among other steps). I'm sure the instructions will vary from brand to brand and possibly from model to model, but I Googled "reset canon cartridge" and found what I needed. Well worth the minor hassle for the money saved. Try this before returning the cartridges. If you're lucky, the printer drivers in your setup will allow you to ignore, bypass or reset the "low ink" error without the extra hassle. But mine didn't, which is what forced me to dig deeper. And I should mention that it's not the remanufacturer's fault whatsoever that this happens.
As for the company, I recommend them. I actually started the returns process before I discovered the reset instructions, and it was relatively painless. Aside from having to wait until their Monday business hours, the operator gave me no hassle whatsoever and sent out a returns label right away. Now I just have to call them back and say "nevermind," possibly in a Gilda Radner voice for my own amusement. I would and will do business with them again.
