The Casio CD/DVD printer is not only a better alternative than Lightscribe printing but actually cheaper! I use the printer connected to the PC and not stand alone because you get better control and quality while connected to the PC. You have different colored ink cartridges to choose from and you can print on any brand of DVD disc. Lightscribe technology is very limited and costly in that it can only print in black & white on special DVD discs only which average around $1 each. These print cartridges from Casio cost about $7 each through Amazon and will yield about (30) DVD disc printing on the top and bottom of each. You go figure which is more cost effective let alone more quality with creativity!Works great with the Casio Disc Title Printer buy tape does not last very long! Very expensive to use!!
