I have learned over the years that whenever you order really cheap ink cartridges that you are always going to be involved in a gamble. Although I have had a bum cartridge here and there that didn't work in the past, there is no question that I have had great success with most of them working flawlessly. I actually bought these for my fiancée' who has an HP C4180 printer. She had recently gone shopping for ink and somehow averted a coronary when she saw a price of over $50 for a pair of black and color cartridges. When I decided to look for refill generics here on Amazon I never dreamed I would find such a price as the one being offered here. Not only are they incredibly cheap for a pair, but the shipping is very reasonable, and changes very little with multiple units. I ordered two of them, or 4 units. The cartridges arrived at her home in a matter of 5 days, (one of the fastest transactions I have ever experienced on Amazon) and both installed and have been working perfectly. She is quite pleased, as I am as well. (Whenever she is happy, I am thrilled...: )

Update....Since the writing of this review, all four of the cartridges that I bought have failed, long before they were out of ink. (I ordered 4 cartridges altogether). The first two quit in a matter of a week. The third just printed one page and quit. And the last one died after several pages in under 30 min. One or two of them I may just let pass for the price, but all four? I no longer in any way recommend these ink cartridges and consider them junk...

My HP C4150 printer would not recognise the colour cartridge. The black cartridge worked fine though. I don't know if it is an issue with my printer or the cartridges.

I thought this would work out as a savings and i was totally wrong. I hardly used the printer and the next thing i know i am out again or no longer able to print. I did what i did not want to do and that was go purchase the HP original product and a greater price, but the difference is that i do not have any compatibility issues as i did with this one and it no longer could perform. I do not know what the difference is between the cheap product here and the original, but the printer seems to know and that is not worth the frustration. Stay away from this cheap crap. Sorry the results proves the point for using the original brand. I expected better and thought i would be wrong, but it would be best to save your money and go with original equipment. Hope this helps you. I learned my lesson.

The Colored ink did not work, and I do not know why. Sometimes I cannot trust these Re manufactured products.

These cartridges worked for about two printings and then my printer said they needed to to be placed. I hate HP printers. I bought a new printer that costed about what a set of HP cartridges would.
