I run a small business and was going through ink cartridges every week and spending a small fortune! I took a chance on this continuous ink system based on 4 previous reviews of 4 and 5 stars. I had previously tried refillable cartridges and found them to be extremely messy and didn't work after 2 or 3 uses. This continuous ink system is AMAZING! A little tricky to set up but once you get it going it works awesome! I tried to install the tubes on the wrong side and my printer kept saying "paper jam" because it was detecting the ink tubes as a paper jam. The ink tubes need to be tucked away so they don't interfere with the printer functions. So, the videos have no voice description and are weird, but I understand the top vid, however the usual non tech person probably won't, and luckily the lower video on priming showed how to clear the tubes, which is what I had to do. This should be in the original directions as bubbles from shipping could be expected. Anyway I printed a dozen full color pages and all seems great so far.

The written directions in english have very poor grammar, and when you need them, they are confusing. The online directions are better in the how-to/trouble shooting area.

I did not see in the original written directions that you need to hit a reset button built into the chip near the battery when installed. They mention hitting the button for each color... Previous CISS just need you to pull the cartridges out and put them back down. I do think when they need to be reset the button will be easier than my old printer/system.

FYI Once installed and powered back on. Go back and hit cartridge replacement. An error may come up, do what it says to get you to the replacement phase. When the bin slides over and stops waiting for you to replace the cartridges, all you have to do is press the button for 3-5 seconds once. You will see the colors on the mini screen go to a shade of grey as if they are missing, when you release the button the colors will brighten back up and hit ok to go through charging.

The directions almost give it a 4 stars, but the website helped and once you spend 5 minutes figuring it out and how it works, it runs great. I will update later if any problems arise.

I have never bought name brand ink cartridges since I have owned a printer. So naturally when my last printer died on me (a Brother multifunction) I started looking for a new multifunction printer to replace it. One of the main requirements I was looking for was the ability to purchase low cost off brand ink. This kit from inkxpro did not disappoint.

The supplied instruction were just ok. I used the video on their website to help me prime the cartridges. As for installation, removal of the cover from the cartridge holder was the most difficult part. I ended up just cutting the left hinge of the cover so it was a little shorter. Then the cover just popped right off. It was not completely clear what the best way to route the ink supply tubes was, but after a little trial and error I was able to get them in a good spot with no interference to the printer head. As a previous reviewer mentioned, the supplied clips did not seem to fit my printer (Workforce 645) nor were they mentioned anywhere in the instructions, so I used tape.

I ran several color test prints using both the original Epson ink cartridges and the CISS and found no noticable difference. As of this review, I've printed about 60 color pages on it so far with no issues and I'm very happy with my purchase. If I ever run out of ink, I will buy this again.

It took me about a week to figure out how to get the CISS working. I took a star off because the instruction are inadequate. I suggest the following for installation.

1. Take out bubbles from the tubes by syringe: (Follow the first video)

2. Remove the cover/door.

3. Install the cartridge like this:

4. You have to put the air filters. (Very very important step)

Its very simple but information provided make it complicated.

This had to have the worst instructions of anything I have ever installed on any product ever. Broken english that made no sense and the written instructions were only slightly worse than the youtube instructions on their website. That said, I think the product is going to work out. I have a slight issue right now where the pink isn't lined up perfectly, but I think when I do a print head alignment I will be ok. I feel like I succeeded in using this product despite the instructions, not because of them. They never mention putting the battery in, priming etc. The product seems solid though.
