If you are going to be doing a lot of printing at home, this is the way to go, especially for plain black and white documents, grayscale and run-of-the-mill color. My wife needed to print a lot of documents for a Paralegal law class, so that is a perfect fit. The Savings really add up fast and the convenience is great even versus free printing at school. The Color results are plenty good enough for most items, too. The only drawback is: The thumb drill WILL NOT do the job, it is not sharp enough to start cutting in to the plastic. You will need a 1/16 drill bit, which is the exact size needed and a cordless or plug-in drill. Even a small one is sufficient for this task. So, do The Math and start saving with the 4x250ml. package!

My package arrived very fast. ink matches color perfect. the only gripe i have is that the bottles have no rubber gaskets, in case the bottles were to tip over( my cat knocked over my magenta bottle was closed tightly but still leaked ) .Its okay no biggie .but as for the product great product. I just cant reset my cl 241xl ink levels . but that has nothing to do with this ink and all to do with canon...

occasionally get streaks from printer but i just print out another test page. I can deal with wasting a piece of paper here and there instead of getting the $30 ink cartlidge. Drilling the holes in there did SUCK but after you done it one time its easy just make sure you wear gloves. The tool to make the hole with is useless (unless you got 20 minutes to spare) It would otherwise get a 5/5

I've used refill kits for years, and this is the first one that actually worked well. The measured plungers are essential! The thumb drill doesn't work, but if you have a drill, it's an easy downside to overlook.
