I can't say how long this cartridge will last because I just installed it (this is why only 4 stars). But for $5 bucks (including shipping), even if it only lasts half as long as others, it is 1/4 of the price. Our printer (HP C3140) had no issues accepting it. Also comes with a postage paid envelope to return your depleted ink cartridge.
12/3/2011 Update. We have done a little bit a printing with no problems but today we just finished printing about 50 Christmas letters in a row and it printed flawlessly.
