I bought this product to replace my ink cartidges last time (I've always purchased the name brand before) and after printing twice with this ink, my printer has died. The code says that the printer heads are bad. I've tried cleaning the heads, even purchased new name brand ink, and sadly will be buying a new printer this weekend. Coincidence you say...well my dad had the exact same experience I did (we bought our ink at the same time) and ended up buying a new printer last week. I wouldn't recommend this product at all!!!

We use our printer for normal day-to-day printing. We rarely do any photo-printing and havent since installing these cartridges.
So far color prints look great. Again this is on normal printer paper on normal mode.
Where the OEMs don't seem to fill the cartridges, a few of these cartridges were overfilled so be sure to wear gloves and protect the floor and furnishings when installing these cartridges. While annoying, I'd rather they be overfilled than under.

This is fine if you want quick, draft-like copies, but it's awful if you're hoping for quality prints. I do not recommend.

I bought this to use in a used Canon Pixma 5000 printer given to me by a friend. I can't compare it to the original canon ink cartridges, but I can say that the print quality I'm getting is very good. I have not yet printed any pictures.
