We use about one of these per month in our Dell 3010CN for very heavy office use. We had tried one other brand that failed to perform due to a chip issue, but this one works just fine. It fools the mechanism that's supposed to keep you from using anything but massively over-priced Dell OEM cartridges. Absolutely no fails, it worked just fine in our machine.

I bought a set of these LD cartridges for our 3010cn. They've been sitting on the shelf waiting for the OEM cartridges to run out. The black one was the first, so I installed the LD cartridge.

After a while, the printer started having problems with a blank, unprinted strip down the right hand side of the paper. Searching for what would cause this lead to suggestions that it may be toner leaking, and to open the door and use the cleaning wand vigorously to clean up the imaging strip. This worked OK for a few sheets, then the blank stripe came back.

I pulled the LD cart and sure enough, it's almost falling apart and leaking toner badly where the two halves come together. It's a very different, much more lightweight assembly than the OEM.

I'm ordering a set of OEM cartridges and dumping the remaining ones in the trash, even though it's going to cost me (I ordered these quite a while ago so can't return them). I don't want to ruin this printer just to save a few bucks.

This cartridge worked ok, at first. After about 100 pages of incidental printing I started having "ghost" images. When I removed the cartridge to check for problems a piece came off spilling ink dust everywhere. I could not get it back together. I put the Dell OEM cartridge back in and all was fine. I've tried "compatible" cartridges several times over the years and have NEVER been the quality of the OEM. I've learned my lesson for good.

Compatible inks some times work and sometimes not, this one worked great. I just ordered a second one in fact. I highly recommend it.
