The drum is working fine. However, after a short period of use, the unit indicates the drum is at the end of its life and needs replacement. I am not sure whether the replacement drum does not connect to the machines electrics because ,so far, it continues to function satisfactorily.

Great drum it didn't work as I expected but it is doing the copys that I need. Still working on getting the problem fixed. Great price.

After I replaced the existing Drum unit, the machine continues to show the "Replace Drum Soon" message? Not sure this is because this unit is non-OEM or what the story is, or if ths is reconditioned and has a limited life.
