Bought this ink. Said ink arrived. Placed said ink in printer. Said ink clearly showed up on white paper. I printed in caps, "HP TRICKED YOU AGAIN INTO BUYING A CHEAP PRINTER. ON A BRIGHTER NOTE YOU ALREADY BOUGHT MORE INK THAN YOUR PRINTER COSTS AFTER YOU BUY 2 CARTRIDGES SO IF THIS PRINTER BREAKS AFTER 2 CARTRIDGES BUY SOMETHING ELSE IF YOU WANT TOO." I opted for the XL rather than the normal 61 cartridge, I've had it for about 8 months (with slightly above average use, I am a student so occasionally have to print 50+ page scholarly articles, research papers, etc.) and have not had to replace it yet.

Wanted an extra cartridge to refill when the original ran empty. Only problem is why does HP sell printers that the replacement ink cartridges cost as much as the printer? I thought HP was a green (recycleable) company? Guess not.....
