To date, I have purchased 4 full packs of this ink and the verdict is still out.
When all cartridges are working, the printed page looks great, and every bit as good as the Canon ink.
HOWEVER, I regularly have to clean the print heads because they seem to clog easily with this ink. Essentially, you'll print something and the color will be way off. You can often tell by looking at the paper which one of the colors is not printing. You put the printer through its built-in cleaning or deep-cleaning function and then the colors all work again. Not too difficult, but a pain in the arse.
I also purchased the same brand ink (but different cartridges) for my Canon Pixma MP530 and I have the exact same problem.
Soooo, if you don't mind using the built-in head cleaning function on your printer frequently, then the cost savings is worth the extra effort.Everything worked out like advertised. Just like mfg. co. product. Price was awsome. I will buy from "The Ink Squid" again!
