Black worked but the colors were pretty much useless and yes we did check our printer over and over and run tests.

I am rating this a 3 because you would pay a lot more for just one black "true" Epson catridge.

Epson builds a great printer, but the price of there ink will put you in the poor house. For that reason I shop around when it comes to buying ink, that is why I bought this ink. I print a lot of photos and they look good with this ink.

and they didnt print out for the ink test you have to perform after you install them. next time, I will go to best buy
