This was the first time I had ever used such a cleaner on any printer. My Epson Workforce 600 print head was nearly plugged completely. The printer does not come apart, so replacing the part was going to be very difficult, if not impossible. After putting a paper towel underneath the print head (while still inside the printer) I use syringe to inject the solution into each hole. I didn't think this was going to help for a long time, but after I did this process about 3-times over 2-days, it dissolved and when I put fresh cartridges in... it worked like new.

As far as I'm concerned, this $10 solution kept me from replacing the entire $350 unit.

Definitely worth trying first. I didn't have to use very much of the solution to fix my problem either (probably 1/4 of the bottle).

This stuff saved me having to buy a $38 printer head...warming the fluid before cleaning is the ticket. Don't be in a hurry , take your time . the older the ink the longer it will need to soak...

The printhead of my Cannon i9100 was clogged. I used the cleaner to dissolve the ink residue, it worked and save me about $100 to buy a new one. but it is a very slow process,I have to spend several hours to work on it.

I have an HP Photo Smart printer that had a clogged black print head. I was at a loss trying to get it cleaned. The print head is a permanently mounted part of the printer and I couldn't get access to it.

I partially filled an old print cartridge with the print head cleaning solution and started printing as much black area as I could. HP checks date codes on ink cartridges, so you can't use one that is too old.

Filling the cartridge was messy but not difficult. I have a bunch of 20cc syringes that I bought for dispensing glue. I partially filled a syringe with solvent and then used that to fill the cartridge. Pulling air out of the cartridge before injecting the solvent helped. The syringe end fits into the rubber seal on the cartridge directly. Have plenty of paper towels handy and wear rubber gloves.

The solvent mixed with the small amount of ink in the cartridge and system and printing was visible on the paper. When I started nothing recognizable was being printed, by the end of 20 pages I could make out what the print was, but it took 100 pages before I felt that I was getting good print.

The total cost of fixing my printer was 50 pages printed both sides and about 10cc of cleaning solution. I feel that I got away cheaply on this fix.

In retrospect, I could have gotten by with the small bottle of solvent, but I am not complaining.

When the print head appeared to be working correctly I put my good ink cartridge back on the printer and everything is working to my satisfaction.

Product was advertised to work on Epson. When received and I called merchant to ask how to use with Epson, I was told that they did not work on Epson, you would have to use another set of cartridges at another $20.00. I kept the bottle for other printers.
