OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) is the ONLY way to go when it comes to ink jet cartridges. I tried the cheap non-brand cartridges. I tried the re-loaded cartridges. I tried reloading my old cartidges. Nothing but trouble. As far as off-brand cartidges, the ones I bought must have had problems with the "electronics". That is the printed circuits on the cart totally messed up my HP printer.
So the important part of the purchase of HP OEM ink carts is simply price and service. This provider provided 5-star service and a price that would embarass Costco.

The HP Photo Inkjet cartridges were of average quality. The vendor deliverd the product promtly. I might make a purchase in the future, but nothing compels me to seek this vendor's product.

Made by the printers manufacturer. Last longer with better ink quality than the recycled variety. Still costs a lot more though.

Works good. I have bought the refillable ones and even though they say universal, they don't fit. So I am back to name brand. More expensive, but they work every time.
