I bought this product while I still had one unused Canon CLI-221Y on the shelf, and saved it "in case." Good thing I did!

When I inserted this generic product, I got no yellow in my printouts, so I figured I that was just a defective cartridge, and replaced it with another generic. Same thing no yellow in the printouts. So I took the second generic out and replaced it with the Canon 221Y that I had kept in reserve. Immediately, the printer worked perfectly. So...yeah, I hate this product. Just glad I didn't buy more than one pack of 4 and that it was cheap.

When customers were satisfied with this product, what printer were they using? It sure didn't work with my MS870!

I have ordered this yellow ink many times. It has irked consistently well for me. I am glad they use the orange ink hole covers. Even though the covers seem like overkill, they keep me from getting ink on my hands.

After I purchased stock inks, printer became malfunctioned . I wonder if this caused by generic inks I used ? Repair the printer cost I don't know but I purchased new one anyway to save time.
