This aftermarket cartridge works well in my 11 year old HP Officejet G85. Price can't be beat, even if the other one doesn't work. I hesitate to remove it from it's sealed container as the medium will dry up if not used in time. I don't print a lot because I'm not a "home office". Maybe 10-15 sheets a week. Or not. It rest's sometimes a week or so between printing sessions. So I'm hoping this will last as long as the OEM I had in it. My OEM was installed in January of 2012. I'd say if this one lasts that long, I'm a happy printer. I did buy an aftermarket color cartridge (from another vendor on Amazon's site) that was haywire at purchase and so was the other that I bought with it. But it was more expensive to send them back than to keep them. The company refunded me the cost + shipping and said they didn't want them back. Can't beat that.

These cartridges were unpacked and used right away with no problems. Ink appears as dark as original cartridge, and performance is satisfactory. Not much else a person could require, especially at the price.

Bought these for my Mother , she had been rationing her printing jobs because the cost of the name brand ink was so high. When I told her how reasonably priced this ink was she thought it was for just one cartridge , then she flipped because it was for two not one.

The remanufactured cartridges work fine. I have an old HP 845c, which is slow, but still working fine. Through experience, I have found it best to set the printer preferences to draft mode, the reman. cartidges tend to dispense too much ink when printing. I find the print quality to be best utilizing the draft mode, and of course, it saves ink as well.
