2nd black cartridge did not work out of the box. It was only a few months old. The color one lasted for a very short amount of time. This is the last time I get remanufactured ink cartridges.

The first cartridge ran out quickly and was a bit easily smeared; I'm waiting to see how long the second lasts....

The cartridges work fine, but HP's "Solution Center" software will not tell what the ink levels are and sometimes raise hell with the printer alignment function. Neither are serious issues relative to the cost of the LD cartridges.

I was little afraid to try those but realy glad I did. They are way cheaper than the brand name and work great with my printer: officejet j4540, no message come up when I print them, so I guess printer took them as the real deal. Hope they last.
