I was a bit skeptical about these replacement "bootleg" cartridges, but after 3 repeat orders, they work perfectly! Strong color resolution, long lasting, and totally compatible with my Canon MP830. And, most importantly, WHAT A DEAL! I save $56 with EACH ORDER!!! Holy S#!+ is that a good value...

I, too, was skeptical about buying an aftermarket ink cartridge. But I figured for the price, why not try it? I did and the only issue is that these cartridges will leak when you remove the cover to install...so wear gloves and have a paper towel close by. However, everything else is great! The cartridges even are lasting a lot longer than my Canon cartridges did. I will definitely buy again!

Honest reviews on LINKYO Compatible Canon PGI-5 / CLI-8 Ink Cartridge 5 Color Pack
I just got my package of 5 ink cartridges and I was crossing my fingers they would work. I installed the large black tank and closed the printer but to my disappointment the printer could not recognize the cartridge. I promptly repeated pulling it out and trying again but to avail. I checked these reviews and watched about 20 youtube videos on how to reset the chip, clean the ports, etc. but I figured I'd cut my losses and learn my lesson in frugality. Before my ego would allow me to be a sucker, I decided to replace another color from the set into the printer to see if they were all bad or just the large black one. I kept the unrecognized black one in the printer and voila! Somehow it works now; maybe it was the power of a good gang-bang, a blessing from the printer gods, or maybe the printer is just racist, somehow it works. I printed a few test pages and they look stellar. The printer is reading full on the replaced colors and working great. Boom shaka laka!
FYI, I have Canon PIXMA MP500.

I have been skeptical also about purchasing the aftermarket cartridges, mainly because in the past a cartridge basically emptied itself into my Dell printer and ruined it. I since purchased the Canon MP530 and vowed never to attempt the non-oem cartridges ever again. Well, as everybody is aware, the Canon cartrdiges will bankrupt you if you try to print anything other than simple copies.(photos, forget it) As I read all of the positive reviews, I figured, "what the heck, I'll give it another try, at this price I can't go wrong. I want to clarify that I got the cartridges from a different vendor(The Factory Depot), and since realized they do not take returns on ink cartridges. From the moment I opened the nozzle on the botttom of the catridge and got ink all over my fingers, I was very, very worried about continuing to install it. When I installed it, it didn't click into place, I had to manually pull the tab forward in order to get it to stay in place, but when I did, the light came on, and it stayed, and I thought, "ok cool, it might just work". I then proceeded with printing my Invoices, heard the printer spit out the papers, and figured it was all good. When I checked to see if the quality was up to par, all that was printed was the red "TOTAL" on the invoice(the cartridge I replaced was the large black one pgi-5bk). I opened the printer to see if the cartridge popped out, but it was still in place, and the light was still lit. I then immediately removed the cartridge and put the old one back in, which was still working fine, just warning me that it was about to be empty. Since I only spent $12.00 for the five cartridges w/shipping, I will chalk it up to lesson learned, again, and stick with the OEM cartridges.
