Great product. It has the chip that fools Epson so they won't hassle you about not using an authentic Epson cartridge. And these new cartridges do not have the fill up sponge in them, so you get way more ink. The ink is absolutely the same as Epson as far as quality, color, etc. They don't leak, and the print does not smear. And to think all you have to do is remove the little rubber tab and fill the cartridge with the bottled ink. Cool!

** UPDATE! **

After refilling only ONE time, and having only had these for a year, I am EXTREMELY unhappy! For some reason, all of a sudden the printer can't recognize the light cyan (months after refilling the cartridges, might I add, so I contacted the seller with the problem and this is what I got back:

"In this case, you may have either damaged or dirtied the Light Cyan cartridge chip, possibly during the refill process. We would recommend that you gently wipe the chip with a soft tissue to remove any dirt or debris, then reattempt cartridge installation. Thank you."

Although, they are trying to be helpful, i told them, that I had refilled them a few months ago, and hadn't had a problem until this point. I had also tried wiping them gently as they suggested multiple times and still no luck, so I told them this as well, and this is what they told me:

"In this case, we really aren't sure what may be causing this issue. Since it's been so long from the time of your order, the best we can do is ship you a free Epson #98 Light Cyan refillable cartridge along with your next order of refill ink. Thank you."

Although I appreciate that they are trying to be helpful, it really does not solve my problem, as I cannot currently use the cartridges-(the light magenta is now doing the same thing!!) AND I do NOT need any more refill ink at this time since I still have 9/10 of the bottles left, so why would I buy more, if this is going to continue to happen with them???!

I would not recommend this product any more. I am sorry, but I believe that they should last more than a year and especially more than one refill! Don't get me wrong, they work great and have great quality WHEN they work, but not worth it if they are only going to be useful for as long a regular Epson cartridge!

This ink is great! Quality is awesome, even for printing photos! I haven't had a chance to refill them yet, but I am very happy with this set!

I ordered these on Tuesday, and they were here on Thursday! that is quick!

i had a problem with the old Light Magenta not printing, and after an install of the new refillables in my Epsom 810, and I ran one cleaning cycle, ALL the colors are now printing just fine, and the ink seems as good as Epson's, of course, when I let a print sit in the sun for forty years, we will see how good it really is!-LOL

I am very happy for the way they work and all, and I have been refilling for at least 15 years.

The printer worked fine with the prefilled ink that was in the replacment cartridges.

Once I refilled the black cartridge, the ink in the print head stopped working. Prints started graying out and then started skipping lines. Tried numerous cleaning cycles. Did not help. Saw the post with the note on one of the five pictures about removing the clear plugs, did not help. Replaced black cartridge with OEM. 2 cleaning cycles, still no ink. Have been searching for a solution. Tried cleaning off the printer tip that pokes into the cartridge. Another cleaning cycle, did not help. Replaced OEM cartridge with the generic replacement, and another cleaning cycle. Still no black ink. Tried cleaning out the sponge where the print head docks by pulling the power plug which stopps the printer head on the opposite side. Removed the old ink with a syringe. Did not help. Added a 50-50 mix of distilled water and windex to the sponge and removed with syringe to clean. Another cleaning cycle, did not help. Trying to soak the sponge saturated with the 50/50 mix. After 15 minutes, I tried another print, still no black ink.

If there is another tip to try, please share. I'll be checking back for any comments.
