The ink on a printed document does not smear or run even when highlighted with a marker. Great for this class of printer. I could not match the Amazon description to the Lexmark description. I wanted the highest yield cartridge but couldn't determine it by the Amazon description. After speaking to Amazon customer service twice, I was finally able to make my selection. Everything worked out well. This cartridige gives me the best bang for my bucks. That's approximately a 750 page yield from 1 black cartridge. The color cartridges are sold individually too, now I can purchase only what my printer needs.

You can't refill these cartritiges and your printer will not print if ANY of lexmark printer cartritiges run out of ink!!!! OVER PRICED and donsn't last long!!!!! Rip off!!! Lexmark sucks

This was a good price for the name brand cartridge. I think in the future I will buy OEM that includes the XL Black, Cyan, Magenta, and Yellow as a set.
