In Australia the ONLY distributor of this cartridge charges over $200!!!!!! AND it last strictly for 12 months. Even with postage this is better value. So I don't care if it's lime green ink I'm buying it!!!

The first black cartridge I tried to use did not work. The installation sheet said to scrape off a strip of carbon if it did not work. Doing that did not help the cartridge to work. After a frustrating hour, including a call to the Amazon no-help line, I decided to try a second cartridge. That one is working fine. I probably would not purchase these particular remanufactured cartridges again, but if all the other cartridges work OK, I could change my mind.

Reporting only on the color cartridge DW906. My review is based on a report from the person who uses the Dell Printer after I asked them how the cartridge is working. The feedback was that the color was not sharp and bright but light and somewhat dull. However, they were now able to use the printer which was not operable because the original Dell color cartridge had been depleted of ink. The remanufactured color cartridge did get the Dell printer back in service and copies are now being done. That is really what matters. The copies are printed clearly with some dull color. Unless I hear otherwise about the cartridge not functioning I would certainly make the purchase again.

The printer sometimes accepts the cartridge and other times gives me an error that the something is wrong with the cartridge. I can usually get it to work after a couple of printer power cycles, but clearly the printer is reacting funny to the cartridge. The lid to the cartridge is not completely set into its case. I thought I would try a remanufactured cartridge, probably won't next time.

These HP 21 black and 23 color inkjet cartridges are very light, easy to install and they allow the printer to print out good quality, durable black and all colors of ink on the page. They store for about a year after you buy them so if you want to stock up for your office or personal printing needs that's great! (They even come with an expiration date!) HP also packs these well so that it is difficult for the cartridge to become damaged during transit. These ink cartridges are also compact so storing them is easy.

One thing that I don't like is that the ink goes too quickly. If you print a lot, you might even need to replace this cartridge every ten days or so. My needs are about 15 pages per week and I have to change cartridges roughly every six weeks. That's not good; although to be fair to these HP ink cartridges I am printing graphics.

Another caveat: in a store you'll probably save some money buying this two inkjet cartridge pack. On some websites (ahem) the savings is lost as another reviewer correctly notes.

Overall, the quality of the ink is rather good despite my one complaint that the ink goes faster than I would like it to go. Nevertheless, the cartridges provide you with the ability to print a multitude of colors on your paper and replacement is easy.

Three stars for this product. These ink cartridges lose a point for not lasting longer; and this pack of two inkjet cartridges loses another star for being a little overpriced by some vendors.

These are cheap knockoffs, not HP cartridges as stated and shown in the product picture.

If you want fake cartridges, there are cheaper ones, or you can refill old ink cartridges yourself. If you want genuine HP cartridges, these are not them.

It's a rare occasion that I complain about Amazon. I'm expected my ink cartridges boxed from HP as shown on the picture. My order, when received, appears to be sold by a 3rd party and wasn't packaged in the picture as shown. So it makes me suspect that these might have been recycled and refilled, that would have been okay if that's what I wanted but I didn't. I could be wrong, but I was disappointed and needed to deal with what I had since I had an assignment to turn in. I don't expect to go thru Amazon again for this item.

I'm more careful about using replacement cartridges than I was before I ruined a lovely printer with a bad replacement. So I kept a close eye on these when I installed them in my new Photosmart 7280 printer.

I just go these a little while ago, but my all-in-one recognized them right away and they haven't seemed to drain like the store bought HP cartridges I currently have in. I have done quite a bit of digital picture printing to and they seem to do the trick. I will update if they start to fail earlier than expected though.

I have to hand it to Seller great customer service.

I initially bought these re-manufactured ink cartridges because I have an HP C7280 a print/scan/fax that is shockingly inexpensive to buy until you figure out you have to replace the cartridges every 10 minutes. Needless to say, I took a chance on buying these re-manufactured cartridges rather than genuine HP Ink.

Great price on the cartridges and they showed up on schedule. Then I installed the black ink cartridge and it didn't work! (All of the color cartridges worked fine). So, I wrote a review to that effect here on Amazon. About a week later I got an email from this Seller apologizing to me for the product defect and telling me that they were dropping a new cartridge in the mail to me to make things right.

About a week later I got a FULL set of GENUINE HP CARTRIDGES (that's right, not re-manufactured) from them to make the situation right.

5 stars for excellent customer service. I will definitely be buying from these guys again.

Straightforward, the first ink I stuck in the printer (my HP 6180) burst and got magenta ink all over the place, ruining a stack of paper (barely kept it off the wall and carpet) and costing an hour of clean up. The seller was very responsive and took care of my return promptly, but all the same, I can't recommend the product. Too bad.

After slapping the ink capsules into their corresponding EasyFill keys and into the printer (A very painless and easy process) I printed a few quick photos just to see what the initial result looks like with default printer settings and it was OK. I printed up their test print (...from their business website) to see if I can pinpoint the off-color. I quickly noticed Red was printing more of an orange color. I'm going to need to play with my printer settings a bit, just by de-selecting ICM for color management, and choosing Photo Enhance, I was able to get pretty good Red. That being said, the ink seems to meld into the photo paper well and my test print was sharp with excellent tonal gradations. I am sure that if I can correct the Red issue, I will be purchasing a whole lot more of this stuff.

Edited 8/27/13 After trying several different settings for my printer (I have no means of hardware calibration so I printed several reference images)I think I nailed the colors. This ink is awesome and I WILL order more. Great Job Jon/Vermont photo ink co.

I've been a long time user of Piezography b&w inks from this vendor on larger Epson printers but this is the first time I've tried the InkThrift CL system for my Artison 800 printer. All I've done so far was successfully assemble a CY cartridge and replace an empty OEM cart in the printer. This went off without a hitch, the printer unaware of what I had done. I have a complete set of inks and shells and as the other OEM carts empty, I will be replacing all of them InkThrift CL. From what I read, I am looking forward to better quality prints when all of the OEM carts have been replaced. This is another winning product from Jon Cone as far as I can tell so far!

I had a bad experience with this ink. When I installed it nothing printed. I was prompted for the ink levels and discovered that the ink cartridges were empty. Both were empty recycled ink cartridges. I called the customer service only to be told that they were not accepting calls.

I have an Epson that used this cartridge system. I do a lot of printing due to my internet business so when I needed more ink and priced the set at Walmart i almost passed out from sticker shock. So I came to Amazon and this site. Thought for the price that even if it didn't work I wouldn't be out much and slo figured that as long as it allowed the printer to work I didn't even care if it worked. But i was astounded when it not only worked, but worked just as well as the expensive OEM cartridges from Walmart. now it's the only ink I use. Ink for less is a no brainer!

The color ink in these cartridges seems excellent to me, a non-specialist in colored ink. The good news is that you only replace just the ink color that runs out in your Epson printer, avoiding the need to throw away unused ink in single cartridges that hold 3 colors, and maybe even black, too. It is also very easy to replace cartridges.

The bad news is that, in Epson (and other) printers, you can't print even just black text if any one of these colors runs out. So you are forced to keep supplies of all four colors installed in your Epson printer at all times if you want to use it at all, even if you have no prospect of printing in color in the near future.

These little cartridges are expensive, and it is obvious that Epson is making its profits on ink cartridges and not on the cheap printers most people use. The whole system is inherently unfriendly to the environment, as there is such a lot of waste in disposing of these complex little electronic cartridges once the ink is gone from them.

The obvious thing to do would be for Epson to sell just replacement ink to pour in to recepticles for each color when they are empty or nearly so. Some environmentally friendly way of keeping the ink channels unclogged would be needed then, but hey, they'd still make a lot of money selling ink and ink channel cleaner. Is this rocket science?

These cartridges work well, like most ink cartridges. The important part for me is that they are for each color individually, so I only have to replace the color that is actually out. Please also note that the interactive software that comes with your printer will tell you to replace the cartridge long before you need to. Wait until the printer won't print anymore, then replace the cartridge. You'll get many more prints from each cartridge this way.

Have not used this cartridge so I am not rating this re-manufactured ink cartridge for its print quality. My rating reflects my dissatisfaction with this vendors deceptive advertising. This vendor is selling re-manufactured cartridges and most people wouldn't know it by looking at the items web page. What I have learned, if the item description doesn't say OEM it isn't an Epson manufactured ink cartridge. I think if a vendor is selling re-manufactured ink cartridges it should be in the item description! Some will say the price should tell you it is not OEM but a lot of vendors list a low price to draw customers and then recoup there losses with an elevated shipping cost!

Well, it's ink. It's Epson ink. It's more expensive than all of the generics out there. Why buy Epson ink? Because buying the knockoffs just isn't worth it. Every time I've tried a cheaper alternative ('bout 8x now), I've had a bad experience... Short lifespan, dried up ink (on receipt), and/or poor print quality. After much aggravation, I've decided that it's going to be straight Epson from here on out. Hope this review helps to improve your mental health as well. :-)

I am currently using these ink cartridges in my HP Photosmart C4580. The ink works just fine, but the cartridge doesn't always register with my printer. This results in the common "low ink" message you get with a lot of refurbished/refilled cartridges, which is not really a problem. What's annoying is that I have to reseat the cartridges to get the printer to accept them. I think this is just when I turn the printer all the way off, so maybe I can remedy the problem by never unplugging it. However, twice now I have had to spend extra time fussing with these cartridges just to get a page to print.

These cartridges worked as well as OEM in my opinion.

This was my first us of XL cartridges and they fit and worked perfectly. My printer doesn't recognize the ink level which could be related to the replacement cartridge but I don't care. I would rather have the money than the notice. I know when my ink is low.

Looking for less expensive ink for the printer I use the most, I ordered two 2 pack cartridges of remanufactured ink. Since this isn't my "good" printer that I use for photos I didn't think using remanufactured ink would be too bad. I have found that I cannot find ANY difference between this much less expensive ink and the branded HP ink that I was using. Absolutely recommend this product.
