Purchased this Q7551X 08/26/2012. When I put it into the printer this week it showed full, but prints extremely light, too light to read! It appears it was not properly filled when I purchased it and now 4 months later when I go to open and use it, I have a defective product that the vendor will not replace. We opened it 42 days after we received it (being toner we order when we put the last one in) and it won't work. The pages print too light to be read. I contacted the seller who apologized for any "inconvenience" but will not accept the exchange or refund my one hundred sixty eight dollars since we are outside of the 30 day return window. This amounts to theft as far as I'm concerned. I am disgusted by this seller and amazon for their lack of customer service and highly disappointed in this experience. I would NOT recommend them. I wasted a lot of money.

Back in December of 2012 we purchased this printer cartridge from DEALTHON here on Amazon, we installed it on our printer on May of this year. Since the last week of July, the paper started coming out with wrinkles and ink drops on the paper. Things kept worsening to the point of printing a document, and the whole left corner of the paper was smeared with ink, and the paper prints out crumbled. After having our printer inspected, the problem ended up being the cartridge which is defective. We contacted the seller to try to exchange the defective cartridge, but DEALTHON never replied. After trying to order a return/exchange/refund through Amazon, the seller rejected the process due to "expired time lapse" without even trying to find out the details, or try to offer a viable solution. Now we ended up purchasing the Standard cartridge once again, but this time from a brick store that offers customer service and replacement in case of a defective item.

I was promised these would work in my Canon IP1800 printer, they did not work. Remanufactured ink produces an error message "cartridge not recognized" and there is no way to override it. I had to return all three cartridges for a refund. It would not rate one star actually.

As mentioned by some previous reviewers, a cartridge failed to be recognized by the printer/computer. The other units were okay as tested. The seller sent a replacement unit as soon as the problem was communicated. The quality control seems to be lacking and I guess a buyer will be taking a chance. The upside is the seller will replace the faulty unit pronto.

Just remember to read this part, "Please be aware that due to changes in printer programming the ink levels for this particular cartridge might appear to be low or empty. It is indeed full and will print a full yield." My printer tried telling me it couldn't print because it was out of ink so I told the printer to ignore the warning and it's still printing fine.

I've had a CISS for my Epson R380 and loved it so when I upgraded to the Artisan 810 I ordered one at the same time. I put in the cartridges that came with the printer and they are just starting to run out, so I finally attempted to install my CISS system. I followed the instructions and made sure the cartridges were pressed in and clicked, but the printer would not recognize them. I e-mail Gigablock support and they were very responsive at first and offered to send out a new chip for the cartridges. Over a week has gone by since I replied saying I would appreciate that and I haven't heard form them and nothing has shown up. I'm past my return window so I just ordered a different brand to see if that works better. I've heard others with the 710 had no problem with this unit, so it may just be something with the 810.

I ordered a 97 cartridge from this seller and it arrived on time and quick. However, the cartridge smelled foul and the color quality was not very good. Furthermore, when I went to go return the cartridge, which shows that the seller has a 100% satisfaction guarantee and details showing that they will pay for the return label, they told me that they don't pay for return labels and that if I were to return it it would be at my own cost. I should have read the reviews before buying the 3pak. Garbage in, Garbage out: of the 3 HP compatable (supposedly) cartridges, only 1 worked and it went out in 1/2 the time of a typical cartridge. I know there is a return policy, but not worth the effort.

May have been a coincidence because we did let it blink for a week that it needed a new cartridge and wouldn't work before we got this one but when we put it in, it didn't want to recognize it or accept it, we worked with it and kept reinstalling and got a can of air and cleaned and then reinstalled and were about to give up when we reopened and shut the lid in frustration and it started working. But anyway it was been working ever since.

I have a Pixma Pro9000 Mark ii and I do a lot of photo printing. Most of the time I refill my own cartridges but when I know I'm going to be busy I will purchase some extra in case I don't have time to refill. I love LD inks for 2 reasons. First there ink matches Canon perfectly. Secondly the design of there cartridges is easier to refill than canon cartridges. I highly recommend these cartridges.

After some horrible experiences with non OEM (compatible ink catridges) in my Canon printers, I read some pretty good reviews on LD ink cartridges and decided to take a chance. I have 2 Canon printers and started off, for over a year, using LD cartridges in my 5 cartridge inkjet with no problems. I had swore never to use anything but Canon OEM in my 2nd printer, an 8 cartridge Canon Pro 9000 Mark 2 photo printer, but my results were so good I started using them and I'm not sorry! Being an amature photographer I print a ton of photos I'm quite particular about color redition. I see absolutely no difference between the Canon OEM cartridges and LD. I've had no issues with mechanical quality either (i.e., leaking cartridges, bad chips), 2 years running now. At over half the price of Canon OEM cartridges I can actually afford to use my printer for what it was intended for.

If you own or are using a Canon Pixma Pro 9000 Mark II these cartridges work beautifully, and are a cost effective when considering the OEM offerings.

I have been using the (LD) products for about two years and purchased approximately 40 or so of these in different colors and had only (one) of them fail. I called in on the 1-800 number and (LD) sent me a new one to replace it without question or hassle.

The chip works with the utility program to indicate the amount of usable left in the cartridge and does a good job of keeping track of the ink used. Originally I tested these the verses the OEM Canon brand to see if there where any discernible difference in color, and or print quality and could not detect any.

I have printed hundreds of photos using this product and the quality is outstanding.

There's nothing wrong with this cartridge, compatible with the HP OfficeJet Pro 8500 printers. Except that it's rated for only 1000 pages. For only a little more you can get the HP 940XL Officejet Black Ink Cartridge (C4906AN) which is rated for 2200 pages.

The 1000 page rating is based on HP's testing methodology meaning that it's highly unlikely that you will get 1000 pages out of your cartridge. If you make copies, if you print photos, if you use the high quality settings you are going to run out of ink much sooner but the fact remains that you do get a lot more ink in this cartridge than in the 'regular' one.

HP claims (couldn't verify) that using Officejet inks on papers with the ColorLok logo the output will retain color quality 'for decades'. Such an ink/paper combination, according to HP, will produce documents that resist water and fading.

Which one to order? At the time I wrote this review I got more value by far with the larger cartridge.

Well, there isn't much you can do about ink cartridges since every printer has its own special cartridge. I chose to buy authentic HP ink because the refills were only $5 cheaper. I did come to realize that I could have purchased the XL version of this same ink. I wasn't aware that it fit in my printer as well (I was under the impression that it fit a similar model of this printer.) Anyway, item was as expected and works in the printer. What more can you ask for?

I purchased one of the $12.99 Gray Cartridges, and as the other reviewer said the ink ran out in less than half of amount of printing a brick and mortar store cartridge would have given me.

Office Max has HP 100 cartridges $24.99. I guess I'll stay local until someone can show me a better cartridge.

It should have had 14ml (milliliters) in it. That is the amount shown on HP's home site. HP's site has them for $23.99 next day delivery with a box of 4"x6" paper if you by two cartridges. That is a $19.99 bonus, and Office Max will give you $3.00 for every empty printer cartridge, up to $15.00.

Purchased this iterm for my HP8450 printer. Pictures are outstanding and the cartridge does the job.Only problem is the cartridge gets eaten up in no time at all. Cost per print no bargain. Problem isn't with the catridge, but with the printer and print process. Now we know why HP has printers at such reasonable price. They eat you up and spit you out via the price of cartidges. That's where the real profit lies. Amazon is tops in price and service delivery.

I want to emphasize what an earlier reviewer said: this cartridge produces beautiful black and white photos, but runs out so fast it's almost silly.

I just went through two full HP 100 print cartridges today printing 54 5"x7" photos. At ~$25 per cartridge, that's $0.93 per 5"x7", not counting the cost of paper or the printer. Yikes!

I love the results of HP's black and white prints, but the per-print cost of ink is very high.

Received cartridge and installed it in printer. Did not print anything for about a month and a half. When I went to pring I got a blank page. Removed it and I could see where there was a leak at the seam where some ink had run down, rest probably dried. Went to check on possibility of replacement and discovered that return date had passed. Oh well, the man wins again! Will try buying one at some other distributor.

I love these vivera inks. The cartridges have a short life but the durability and longevity of the colors really last.

Original review below. After less than a week, black cartridge is empty. Still haven't tested the color, and at this point don't plan to. In the trash they go.

First time use of refilled cartridges on my printer (used to get deals). Saw this for about a sixth of the price of a new pack and decided to try it out. So far I've only discovered two issues with these on my printer (although I believe it's pretty standard for all refills).

As stated in the product description, the printer will not show a fill level, so you only know when you're getting low when your print jobs look shoddy. Guess I can deal with that, since I normally try to squeeze every last drop out of a cartridge anyway. Seeing how these are so cheap, if I get at least a month out of them I will just order a few packs to have on hand. Fortunately though, my printer recognizes the "used" cartridge (as it labels it in the monitoring software), and doesn't throw any errors at me.

The second issue I had, which also seems to be mostly a non-issue, is that it seems to error out when running the "align cartridge" function after being installed. The error is displayed after the alignment completes, but I can't see any issues with the alignment printout. I tried it a second time with the same result, perfectly aligned printout and LCD error message.

I just installed the black cartridge (my old color is not empty yet), but have seen no other problems than the issues noted above. I've printed out about 20 pages so far. If I see any issues in the near future, I'll update my review. At this point, when contrasting the price difference with the two (mostly) non-issues, I can't complain. 5 stars for now.

I have shied away from the XL and refilled because I did not think that my printer would accept them. However, after doing some research on the HP site, I learned that my printer was compatible with the XL inks. You can't beat this price for the inks either! $30 plus for brand new in stores.

They fit without a problem and after the initial tests, they are working fine. My printer did not freak out with the refilled ink.
