The good news is this is genuine OEM ink from Canon, and will work just fine in the MP6320 printer I own or other printers that use the PGI-250/CLI-251 series inks.

But just like the Canon 2945B011 PGI-220 and CLI-221 CMY Ink with PP-201 (50 Sheets) Combo Pack for my old Canon inkjet, this is a strange combo. Canon should have included the CLI-221BK Black ink tank in this combo, since any Canon inkjet with individual color tanks requires the Black tank. And I consider the included Canon paper a poor value, since you can always find Canon photo papers on sale for better prices at Amazon or elsewhere.

I'd say the Canon CLI-251 BK/CMY 4 PK Value Pack Ink for Canon InkJet Printers is a better choice than this one; leaving the PGI-250 Pigment Black tank out makes some sense since your use of Pigment Black depends on how much you're using your printer for text. (Both a standard or XL sized Pigment Black tank are sold separately.)

One other gripe about the ink tanks themselves (besides the fact the amount of ink supplied continues to shrink over time) is that they are totally opaque. I prefer earlier Canon tanks (such as the Canon CLI-221 2946B004 4-Color Value Pack that are either clear or have a clear window to eyeball the amount of ink left. With the CLI-251 tanks you must rely on the printer to tell you when to replace the ink, and occasionally printers get it wrong and tell you a tank is empty when it isn't.

Note: what I *really* want is a value combo featuring the XL sized ink tanks, which Canon claims will last 100% longer for the colors and 50% longer for the Pigment Black. But as of May 2013 it seems like these are only sold individually.

My canon printer uses this ink. The value pack came at a great price and since I print a lot of pictures, it was great getting the bonus.

Best Deals for Canon PGI-250/CLI-251 Ink/Paper Combo Pack Ink

I found an XL combo in Costco for 79.99 that includes 5 tanks, all but the grey one needed (that's 15.998 average per tank including the big black one). My Pixma MG 6320 Wireless uses 6 tanks, including a big and small black one, grey, M, C, Y. There should be a combo pak that provides all 6 tanks. And Canon needs to back off a bit on their profits and get more reasonable about cost of their ink.

.

Tacky for Canon: A website they've sent me to with downloadable high quality images by artists checks ones printer to make sure it contains all canon ink before it lets to onto the site. This puts bit of bitter taste in my mouth, as it highlights their profit motivation. I've been a big Canon fan, have two Canon digitals, and older S2 and an almost brand new ELPH 530 (tiny, wireless, 12 x zoom).

If this beginning bitter taste persists, Canon may lose a customer completely down the road...!!! Hey, I was in management for 3+ decades, and know profits are needed, and keeping margins up important to survival--and I want Canon to survive and be financially healthy, but too much is still too much.

Honest reviews on Canon PGI-250/CLI-251 Ink/Paper Combo Pack Ink

I haven't used these yet, but wanted to warn others. I ordered this to have a complete set of backup cartridges for my Canon Pixma mp922. It takes a small yellow, blue, magenta & black plus a larger black cartridge.

This bundle doesn't have the small black cartridge.

I spend too much time trying to worry about which color runs out faster than the other on my printer. just buy the multi pack and you don't have to think about it!
