Bongo no like ink prices. Bongo buys refillable ink cartridges. Bongo pays less. Bongo happy!

That's how it is supposed to go, and how it goes for most people who buy refillable cartridges.

In my case, The yellow cartridge wasn't being recognized by my printer. Nothing a quick email and some waiting could't fix.

The seller heard my problem and sent a new cartridge chip my way no questions asked. The chip worked and now I'm back to printing as usual. No big deal.

Some things to note:

1. Do NOT touch the green chip on the front, this can cause the cartridge not to be recognised and is annoying to fix but not a huge problem.

2. Remove the air hole caps Before putting them in the printer, and keep them off, or nothing will print

3. Do a head cleaning after putting the cartridges in and leave it for an hour, The do a nozzle check and repeat the processif you are having printing problems.

4. There are 2 types of printer ink, pigment and dye. You want pigment ink for any printer that uses epson 125/126/127 ink because that what epson uses in their cartridges. I couldn't find any other pigment ink package on ebay or amazon as full, or as cheap as this.

5. This set contains more than one refill, and is much cheaper that buying oem cartridges because once you finish your ink, you already have the cartridges and the syringes so all you need is 33 dollars to get the same amount of ink again.

I don't print gobs of paper. I attempted to use a CISS (not Printpayless though). Since I don't print too much, the CISS tubes would often refill with air and I would need to prime the system (a messy process) and run head cleaning repeatedly to get the printer to print again. The CISS was the type with a long ribbon-tube cable that you had to "mount" (for lack of a better word) to the printer and leave the ink wells to the side of the printer. After months of frustration I ordered the kit in this review.

What a difference! These are easy to install, refill, reset and the print output is great. I predominantly print plain paper documents as opposed to photos, however the photo output appears to be pretty good.

I can't think of a reason to not use these instead of Epson cartridges, they are cheaper, show up as Epson, and simply work.
