I have been using these ink cartridges in my Canon MG5220 printer for more than a year, and they have performed just as well as the Canon brand cartridges but cost far less. A great value!

I have tried Continuous Ink Systems before and never got them to work properly, so I thought I would try the generic cartridges for a while for my new printer. These were accepted by my Canon as soon as I installed them.

The only reason I didn't give them a full five stars is the first one is almost empty after not quite a month. I don't feel they lasted very long. I will add, I do do a lot of printing now. That's the reason I purchased these because I knew I would be needing to print so much more than my usual this month. Mostly black and white, around over 50 pages a week total. Maybe I am just not realizing how much ink it takes to print as I have never printed at this volume at home in my entire life. *shrugs*

I ordered only two large black cartridges (C-225BK) for my Canon printer. They arrived in a timely fashion. I have used only one so far. When I opened the package there was some leakage, I assume from shipping, but after I dried it off, it worked well in the printer and was recognized by the printer. I am hopeful that the next cartridge will work equally well.

on myorder both of the plastic tabs that hold the cartridge in place were broken off. WHY????? yes this order is a few days old , but I have been out of the country. I didn't notice this problem on the first one , but looked at the 2rd one which was still on a sealed package,,yes It was also broken...WHY...james
