I got a new Kodak printer for Christmas for my small business. Unfortunately, I have been disappointed to discover how quickly the Kodak cartridge empties. It seems like it runs out so much fast than any other printer I have ever used. As a result, it leaves me questioning the decision to buy a Kodak printer in the first place.

The XL cartridge in both black and color is a much better value for your money. The difference in price between the standard size and the XL size is more than paid for by the number of copies.

Not sure which it was, but the ink stopped flowing. A new cartridge worked for a couple of pages. I blame Kodak since their brand was on the cartridge and the printer. I also noticed they went bankrupt, probably as a result of my seething anger.

I should have known. The printer was less than $100 including 2 ink cartridges (never mind that the cartridges only lasted a couple days and less than 20 pages). All the kodak ads inferring that you wouldn't have to replace cartridges as often as the competition. Cartridges had to be replaced almost immediately. I ran out of yellow and that was the end of the cartridge even though the levels of the other colors registered 50%+. Buyer Beware !

This kodak printer uses more ink (or the cartridges are shipped EMPTY) than my HP or Cannon. the ink cost about the same but last 1/2 as long. and when the Software says it is empty even with ink in the cartridge it will not allow you to print at all. Both cartridges MUST show up on the monitor as having ink or you will not be allowed to even try to print. JUNK Product.
