These ink cartridges are awful.

Nothing printed looks anywhere at all like when I use real ink cartridges.

I bought this pack a few months ago for my PIXMA iP6000D printer, one of the printers listed. I followed the directions included in the package but an error message appears saying "printer head not installed." Additionally, it will not print anything. These cartridges are not the right size/shape for my printer. They are slightly larger and the printer will recognize that. If you want to save money, don't try to do so with this!

Great product, great price, great delivery, great supplier we save tons of money using generic ink. Been doing this for many years and haven't seen any disadvantages at all. At first, we were worried about gumming up our printers, but haven't experienced that problem.

We go through a lot of ink at work. These were purchased to see if we could cut down expenses. They seem to have the same quality as the name brand ink and lasts as long. Two of these were leaking in the package making a mess, however they installed and worked perfectly in the printer.

Given that a box of 18 cartridges cost about the same as a single Canon cartridge from the local office supply store, it may not be appropriate to complain about the quality, but....

The magenta ink is a bit off, enough that you will notice a difference between these and the Canon brand cartridges. I've seen the same color variation in generic Staples cartridges I've tried in the past. Reds will tend more toward orange while using these cartridges. Black and white prints have a decidedly green tint to them, because the magenta ink is off. However, by using a genuine Canon brand magenta cartridge with the other generics, I'm getting perfectly acceptable prints and saving considerable money, too.

The cartridges themselves do not seem to maintain the vacuum needed to effectively draw ink into the print head. What this means is that after your printer sits unused for a number of hours, colors will be markedly different the next time you go to print. Cartridges may need to be "cleaned" with the included software to rebuild vacuum whenever the printer has been unused for extended periods, which is a big waste of ink.

But they are cheap.
