I was a little nervous that these cartridges would not work with my canon I9900, but they work fine and the color is good, if you are not printing photos. The last reviewer does not know what he is talking about. The canon BCI-6 does not have a chip and the printer works just as good, Although the black did not print out as black but blue. There was no true black in the prints that I printed, therefor they should not be used for printing art photos.

The ink tanks do not have the required computer chip on the outside of the tank. The printer therefore does not recognize the cartridge, and will not work. Complete waste of two 8-packs.
