I bought this to use in my Brother intelliFax 2440C color inkjet fax/copy/printer. I have no problem with the quality of prints. It also was a good deal for the amount of ink I received for the price.

However, unless you print every day I would not recommend buying this ink. I went a few days without printing and I noticed the black ink was faint. After running the printer through a cleaning cycle it was fine. Then a few days later I come to print and no black ink is coming out at all. After over 10 cleaning cycles the black ink still will not come out.

I will have to figure out how to get it printing again, maybe the seller can tell me, or if anyone has experienced this and has any tips please let me know. Thanks! Hope this review helps!

***Update*** 11/19/2012

I contacted to seller and was given advice on how to fix the problem but it did not work, I also contacted Brother online and went to an authorized repair shop. My printer still will not print black ink. I conclusion I would not reccoment this ink for your printer. My machine was bought in 2004 and has been working fine up until I put this ink in it. Black is the color I used and now black is the color that now will not work.

I ordered the ink on the 19th and received it on the 22nd. So it did arrive a little early. I have been studying/researching/reading reviews on how to refill my ink cartridge so I didn't need any directions. I was on the way out of town when my ink arrived. It took less than 10 mins for me to refill and print out a test page (I didn't have any more time). I put out a paper towel which caught any ink spill. So there wasn't much of a mess to clean up.

I didn't have to run any kind of clean cycle, then again I don't think I really filled it up. I was in a rush and just wanted to test it. The print was ok, I couldn't really tell a difference between the regular ink and the refill ink. I am a couponer so that was the purpose of me getting the ink. I was a little worried because the first coupon I printed didn't scan when I tried to use it. However, after printing a few more, those scanned without any problems. SO I was very happy with the order. This is pigment ink (can't remember if it said this in the description).

OVERALL the ink works well and my coupons are scanning! There was only one needle and syringe in my package. The description said there would be two and a pair of gloves (I didn't get any gloves). I got the most important thing (the ink). I'm not worried about the missing items. I should save a lot of money with this refill!!

This ink is not good enogh for injet printer refilling. Don't waste your time and money. After the first use I noticed poor quality and bad performance, and finally my printheads needed it a good cleaning to back to normal.

I used another brand product for about a year and decided to switch to this cheaper alternative. After a few months use I noticed that this ink seems to dry much quicker than the old stuff. The particulate is much larger than my previous ink as well when i compare the bottles. My black print head is now clogged because of this in even tho I have no issues with my colour inks which still have the other brand in them and they have sat for much long(rarely print colour).
