It showed up in a plastic baggy (no box like the picture) and it weighs about half what it should weigh new. I order these all the time and as soon as I pulled it out of the shipping box I noticed how light it felt. I even pulled the one that is in use by the printer now and compared weights and this one was about 50 grams lighter, that's a lot considering the weight new is only about 150 grams.
I'm very disappointed about my purchase. I'm sending it back and just buying from office depot or staples instead.

I just finally opened this package after purchasing it in August, and installed the cartridge today. It appears to be full and is printing okay, but I get this annoying little bouncing announcement every time I print. I am shocked. The packaging appeared to be genuine. Too bad.

HP charges too much for its ink cartridges but remanufactured and off-brand replacements are risky. So I reluctantly stick with HP (plus their printers are quite good). However, you can buy cartridges directly from HP for less than the price here. Make sure to search for and enter coupon codes when ordering from HP, and you'll save a couple of bucks.

I am returning this product as I continue to receive a "cartridge is counterfeit" error similar to other users. It came in what appeared to be normal HP packaging.
