Great product, I think it's best to use the brand name cartridges, whenever I use the off brand ink cartridges the printer doesn't lasts long, or problems come up. I have learned my lesson.

So far, the cartridge has worked really well. The ink quality has been good, although it did take me cleaning the cartridge about 4 times before I could see the yellow ink. I tend to not use my color ink very quickly in my printer and the generic cartridges I've bought before tend to dry up -the jury is still out on this one. Hopefully it will last a bit longer. I'm trying to remember to at least print one color page a week to prevent them from drying out.

I always get the Brother brand ink, never off brand. It always seems to last longer and better print quality. Not much more you can say but you get what you pay for, if you want to buy off the brand then do so with those words in mind and just don't be surprised if the few dollars cheaper results in less printing time available.
