Of course I have only inserted one black and one color cart in my Kodak ESP 3 Printer of the 4 total, but both carts are working just fine. The printer status monitor recognized the carts as full and my test prints on a black & white doc and a color photo looked as good as the printer using the Kodak brand ink cartridges.

Hopefully these non-brand carts will last as long and continue to print as well as they did on the test prints.

I read ALL the reviews Bad & Good and made my Choice, Wrong Choice!!! I really, Really Love Amazon.com But they really need to Use some of these Catridges for Theirself and Evaluate Them. my Printer was Printing Fine it just needed Ink so I looked these up on Amazon and took a Chance even with more than a few Negative Reviews. I sent some Samples of the Horrible attempt at printing in the Box With The easy return for Refund. Went to WalMart and picked up 2 combo packs of Kodak ink for my Two Printers and Sure Enough it went back to Printing Perfect, Both of the Printers. Well I guess the Fact that Kodak's Ink

is so Cheap that It has a tendantcy to push you to see just how cheap you can get it for. Please Folks Save your Time and Frustrations for more Important Troubles in your life, Don't Be Greedy. Buy the Kodak Ink you Won't be Dissapointed. Thanks Amazon, for Your easy Returns, because with out them I would really be up the Creek without a Paddle. I just can't say enough, "How much I love Amazon.com"

I have had these cartridges for about 3 weeks and they are awful. Do not purchase them! First, when I attempted to load the color cartridge, I took off the cover and color ink leaked everywhere including on the carpet and my jeansand it is permanent ink. Then this week I replaced the black cartridge (I was much more careful to not let the cartridge ink get everywhere) and now all of my documents print in very poor quality. With the actual Kodak cartridges I was able to print in draft mode and still get readable documents. With these cartridges and the printer set on normal there are still lines through the printing and areas that don't print. The cartridges may be lower in cost, but it is for a very obvious reason.

I installed one of these cartridges(color) for the first time last night. There is a piece of foil that has to be removed from the nozzles before you install the cartridge, and when I pulled it off ink splattered everywhere! Not only is my hand semi-permanently dyed a variety of colors, but my clothes were ruined and a fair amount of ink wasted. While the ink does seem to be printing just fine, the loss of my clothing negates the value of the price break I got. Next time I install one of these, I think I will wear gloves and open it inside a plastic bag.

Like I said, it seems to be good ink, but if your product sprays ink everywhere I'm not going to continue buying it.

I have just downgraded my rating to one star. I feel like I have given the ink a very good chance, and here's what it comes down to:

I received two color and two black cartridges. My experience with installing the first two was bad, as can be read above. BUT with time I thought maybe I would consider buying these again, because they were a lot cheaper and they seemed to be working fine. The only problem I encountered was when I printed with the "draft" quality setting. When I did this, there would be large areas where no ink got onto the paper. I print a lot of coupons, and this area was often on the bar code, soooo... not a good thing. But if I printed with a higher quality and used more ink the problem was fixed, so I lived with it.

The second cartridges were installed a few months later, and the installation was much better--no splatters. However, not long after installing the cartridges my printer told me that it did not recognize my black ink cartridge. I have done all the troubleshooting with no success, and today I finally gave up. If this had not happened I would probably have bought more of this ink, but now I feel like I wasted my money--I know there's ink in there, but my printer can't use it. So even though it's less expensive, I don't consider it worth the risk anymore: I've just had too many little problems, and now this big one.
