Bought an older wide format printer because I couldn't afford a new one, which means there was no way I could afford HP inks. This works just like the original and prints great. The printer recognizes it without any problems. I would give it five stars but the plastic seal over the ink outlet was a bit difficult to deal with. I think you are supposed to just let the printer puncture it, [there are no directions], but it took a lot of effort to do that, and I was afraid I might break something. Worked out fine though.

When I opened the ink cartridge it was too full! I knew that it was a remanufactured cartridge but they overfilled it leaving me with ink all over my hands, printer and my floor. bought the black (HR4844), works on HP Designjet 110 plus nr perfectly, been printing like mad no probs. only issue was there's an arrow on the top of the ink cartridge that should point down, this one it was pointing up, no big deal. will report back when it runs out or explodes, for now (on 3/20/13) it gets 5 stars. also on the page the selector that says "Will This Work with Your Printer" says it wouldn't work with my printer and it did (i think that thing isn't working).oh and i got the thing in 20 hours from purchase! i have Amazon Prime and figured a couple days. it came from Kentucky to Northeast Pennsylvania in 20 hours from order to arrival. should note that UPS has their main hub in Kentucky so that may have been advantageous.
so far so good, can't go wrong for $7.25 and free shippng. the usual cartridge is $40 plus shipping.
UPDATE: Bought in March and now it's August, still working fine and working as if it's an original HP ink cartridge. I moved and had trouble with the original HP blue and magenta inks after i guess some rough handling of the printer and had to buy new ones, but this black ink still worked fine. Had the ink area open and looked around, no leaks or issues with the black ink after move. Will buy again. Fully recommend and will buy again, HP must be making a killing selling these things for 5 times the price that i bought these for.
