The business model apparently shared by the big printer manufacturers is to give away the printers, and then extort huge sums for the ink to actually use the printer.

The print color is nice, but the size of the cartridges combined with the cost per cartridge forces me to agonize over every print I try.

Color does not seem to fade or bleed appreciably, during the time I have used the PIXMA PRO-100.

If you can, buy the printer with the ink as a bundle; it is cheaper than buying the ink alone.

These colors are the ones with the highest consumption, so it is good to be able to purchase them as a discounted kit, rather than one offs, or as part of the 8-color package.

Original Canon ink with the quality you should expect. Yes the ink ink tank is small but I knew that when I bought the printer.
