These ink cartridges let me get a lot more use out of my HP printer. Some reviewers have written that HP charges low prices for their printers only to give us all sticker shock when it comes time to buy ink--and they're right! However, this two-pack of ink cartridges suits me well. I get extra ink (a lot of extra ink) in the black ink cartridge and the regular amount of ink in the tri-color ink cartridge.

At first you might think that I should have purchased both cartridges with extra ink. However, that would be a little bit of overkill for me. I use black ink way more than I do color, one reason being that banks (at least where I live) no longer give you your checks back with your checking statement; so I always make a copy of my check (using just black ink) before I send it off to pay a bill. Thus the extra black ink really comes in handy; my usage requires a lot less color ink than black ink. If you need more ink in both cartridges go for the two-pack with both cartridges having extra ink.

This two pack of ink cartridges (one black with extra ink, the other a regular tri-color) work well with my HP Deskjet 3050 printer; I'm really able to use the extra black ink. I highly recommend these ink cartridges for anyone who has a HP printer that needs them and uses much more black ink than color ink.
