Black ink is black ink ... but not in draft mode. To get readable quality, use standard mode, espeically if there is any gray or color fonts.
I ordered in May and it ran out in September under light duty. Clearly not 200 pages, but perhaps due to using standard mode. Summer heat might have affected life.
