I have used the Epson R2880 for almost two years and I am consistently pleased with the print quality. I am convinced that the three black cartridges are a big factor in the sharpness and high contrast that images produced by this printer and ink consistently include.
With eight cartridges, the printer often seems to be running low on ink in at least one cartridge. I keep a stock of spare cartridges available to quickly replace an empty one.
I only purchase new Epson cartridges. Others might work okay, but I do not have the time to experiment and I do not want to waste paper.
The overall pront quality that I ahve achieved with the R2880 and the Epson ink meets my needs well. I am delighted that I can get consistent tow day delivery of this ink with Amazon Prime.

This T096920cartridge appeared to have been pre-used. It worked for less than one or two printings. I have never had this type of epson product with the problem before. It was defective and a waste of money. I bought other cartridges from a different supplier at $13.99 that worked fine.
