It's actually been years since I bought a printer cartridge, so I suffered a little ""sticker shock"" at the price which was almost as much as the printer itself. My brother picked out the Dell wireless printer for me so I had no idea about the cost of its maintainence. Anyway this was the best price I found and the product arrived in perfect condition and worked great. I am now printing in glorious color...though much more sparingly!

These printer cartridges are the same as those I order from Dell; they're just significantly less expensive, plus so much easier to order from Amazon--and without the worries of ordering online because of Amazon's amazing guarantees and return policies. I couldn't find these particular cartridges in area stores, so I tried a generic brand. Bad mistake. If you have a Dell printer, you need to use Dell supplies. I've been very happy with the quality of printing using the 31 series, and I intend to keep ordering them from amazon.

If someone asks me if I regularly pay attention to how an object, an item, something, works for me, my answer will be negative. However, I certainly notice when something is NOT working properly, or as expected. In this case, the ink cartridge installed is working great. Nothing to complain. So far, so good! I recently got it, so I ignore how long it's going to last. Price and quality wise I am totally satisfied with this product! Recommended.
