I've been using this ink for at least 18 months -probably 30 cartridges by now. Only one did not work properly. (I always get them from Sophia Global thru Amazon .. I do this as some reviewers have said they had bad luck with SG ink bought thru Amazon but NOT supplied directly from SG .. hope that makes sense!) After a recycling credit from Staples, these things are practically FREE. Be sure to buy Sophia Global from Sopia Global, not from a third party vendor. Amazon carries what you need, you just have to shop around a little and you will find the variety and price you want. These cartidges perform flawlessly in my MX-870 and they are way cheaper than refills. I keep a buffer supply on hand and never have to worry about running out. No more HP rip-offs for me! I finally cut the cord, bought a Canon, and couldn't be happier . . all because of Sophia Global.In a nutshell: Excellent product, outstanding price, warm fuzzy feeling.
